I always find your videos so relaxing on Saturday morning. It is inspiring and puts me in a space of intention and purpose in all the overwhelm. Thank you!!
absolutely amazing work. Your videos are so enjjoyable, the shots and music are so spectacular. Thank you for doing what you do. I'm going to binge watch as many of the older videos I can this weekend and next week while our gardening and yard work weather is still a little too cool and wet :). God Bless you.
I just planted our my Kibler Okra starts yesterday here in NE Florida. .❤❤ I'm not sure yet about when to start my cow peas.... but I'll keep you posted. 😊 I just love y'all's videos ❤❤❤
Very nice video Will The music is exceptional ! Fits very nicely. I've been listening to a similar style out in my garden lately. (to drown out traffic noises) It's called pan drum, or something like that. It reminds me of the music played during a massage. That style seems to fit this season very nicely. Question: I am unaware of aloe having latex. I'm not saying it's not there, I'm just saying I've not encountered that info. When the weather gets really hot, and the soil dries up really fast here in Central Texas, I put an aloe leaf in the blender, then dilute it much further with water, and water the plants with it. It really helps the soil with water retention. And the soil ammendment stores charge a hefty price for this same mixture, except they dry it in a dehydrator before selling it. I also use that mix when I get a dry mushroom block, it really helps speed up their re-moisturization. (I get the blocks used from the professional mushroom growers) I've been harvestion lots of lions mane lately from those blocks! It's REALLY nice! Anyway, back to the aloe- I thought for human consumption all that was needed was to cut the aloe filet out, then blend it with water. Can you share any info on the latex you mentioned? Also, that mushroom (polypore?) which you showed at the beginning was really cool looking! You said it had pink gills! Awesome!! I'm not knowledgeable enough to help with an ID, I just thought it was neat!
I don’t know what that pink gilled mushroom was, cool beans about the lions mane - great for your brain! But yes aloe has that yellow fluid that is an anti herbivory compound. I’ve always tried to avoid eating it, however the info on it out there is mixed in opinions on human health effects
Hardware cloth is a necessity, but it is really annoying!. Once it’s done it’s there for years, whereas chicken wire will start to degrade after 2-3 years
What do you do with the dandelion flowers? Do you have a recipe? I grow a mean crop of chemical free dandelions and would like to make use of the crop.
I love ALL Honeybee Hollow Gardens videos!
The drone footage pulling back from the earth with that music really got me. Thank you.

I'm glad you like them! I hope the others don't disappoint!
interesting about the aloe vera soaking for the latex, thank you for sharing
That pot of cow peas looked delicious. I can’t wait to eat my first pot of them.
They were very good, fed us and our nearby family for a week
Now I am hungry!! 😋😋😋😋
Hardware cloth is a pain to work with but, in the long run, it's worth the aggravation.

@HoneybeeHollowGardens
ok, Thanks.
❤
What kind of cowpea was that? Enjoy watching your videos.
Chicken & Dumpling
Hardware cloth is a necessity, but it is really annoying!. Once it’s done it’s there for years, whereas chicken wire will start to degrade after 2-3 years
It wasn’t too bad to work with
Are the C&D cowpeas a bush or vine variety?
Vining, but they don't need a trellis. They're very aggressive and will take over anything close to them
What do you do with the dandelion flowers? Do you have a recipe? I grow a mean crop of chemical free dandelions and would like to make use of the crop.
We mostly just use the roots they make an amazing tea. Sometimes I’ll throw the flowers in a sauerkraut. I’ve never made the jam
Are you telling me there's PLASTIC in Aloe?
Not that type of latex lolz! Some plants have it and it’s thought to be slightly toxic cause plants have it to deter against herbivorous threats
