Brilliant this. This is one my favourite phonics tracks. The vocal is really hard too. This song and 'not up to you' is another major banger off this album. Keep up the good work pal
Stereophonics are one of my favourite bands but have never really been given the credit like some of the other bands from the same era. Which is criminal because they were as good if better than some of the more hyped up bands. I have the tab books but watching your videos makes learning much easier. Thank you for this and all your other videos.
Great tutorial, top man Steve! Saw them live recently at a festival, they really underwhelmed, playing the new stuff which few people knew, Kelly even seemed to sulk that no one was singing along. 10 years I'd waited to watch them live too! That said, their early stuff is immense
Can’t believe I’ve just found this channel. You’re an absolute god send. Got an acoustic and I’m getting an electric guitar this year and phonics are my favourite band and your tutorials are top class. You even seem to like the same era of phonics as I do. Please do all of the early albums! Out of curiosity how do you learn or find these tabs?
Cheers David thanks for watching. I’m glad your finding the videos helpful. I start of working out the basics of every song by ear and then any part I get stuck on I just see what live footage I can find on you tube to see if I can see how the songs played.
Great job Steve, I used to literally study Kelly’s playing back in the day! If you’re interested the intro is very much based on a guitar part in the chorus from who made who by AC/DC and also the riff you showed at the end is Let’s Get it Up also by AC/DC 😊
Please do plastic california

Yeah you can’t beat the early stuff, I was fortunate enough to see them back in 1998 when Cable was still on drums, amazing gig.
Do it! Do it! DO IT!!!!!
Yes! Thousand Trees to Billy Davies! And If not the whole album, then Same Size Feet please! Even moving to 1999 for some Bartender! 🎸
Same Size Feet would be amazing!

Fantastic, thanks for the live parts too much appreciated. The whole album would be great it certainly deserves it. Thanks very much!
Thanks Craig 👍🏻

Well I never knew that was an AC/DC riff 🤯 although I have always thought it sounded very AC/DC ish, it all makes sense now, cheers Scott 👍🏻
