Yes, but remember that the Mirror is an all-purpose boat and you need to stow the oars comfortably when you're sailing or motoring. Longer oars would also tend to make rowing more erratic with such a short boat.
you’re right, they are too short. but I’m really impressed by how balanced she is, the oars match her manouverability. I could row for days comfortably, I just wouldn’t get as far as I would in a better row boat. ultimately I’d like to do sail/oar voyages with an outboard for backup, and in such a case the oars would need to stow easily. I appreciate the comment about long oars making her eratic, I had though I might extend the rowlocks with a temporary cross beam and add longer oars, but on second thoughts that would be bad
