- My first 2 rolls of Kodak 250D shot on a recently converted Super 16 Bolex Rex 4. Shot throughout the month of October 2023 in Acadia National Park, Maine, San Francisco, and Pennsylvania.

It has the sharpness of 35mm, but maintains the grittiness of Super 8. Kind of the best of both worlds.

So beautiful! I’ll always prefer film versus digital. The SF shots really hit home. I went to college in SF for film and shot super 8 and 16mm on a K3 there.

I wish Agfa re entered the film business. Their photography film was the sharpest (except for Agfa Vista). They could make sharp 16mm film.

Thanks! The majority of the sound is just Iphone recordings on site or pulled from sound libraries.
Nice footage! I visited the Bangor Maine area in October but didn't make it down to Acadia. A good place for 16mm film. I used by Sony A7s in Maine shooting digital instead of film. I like shooting with my old Bolex non-reflex but I've not been happy with the image quality. What lens did you use?
Lenses were Kern 10mm rx and Kern 25mm rx - thanks
