Hi Kelly, I’m loving the direction of your videos. I started following you as a disabled person who is homebound so watching you go markdown shopping was fantastic as that’s something I miss doing. I love seeing your grocery hauls (happy to see what you have once you get home and not on the go in the shops either) I love seeing your what’s for dinner videos too. Love seeing what you’re making for dinner with food that you already have. As someone who doesn’t do a ‘regular’ weekly or fortnightly shop (I stockpile and only buy things as needed on special etc) this is what I like about you. I also like your videos at home with cleaning, cooking and gardening. As someone who has always wanted to be a garden person and isn’t I love to see the transformation of your backyard. So slow living and real life is what I’m here for so don’t ever do any content that doesn’t resonate with you. I would love to see a Christmas countdown for your family closer to December if that’s something you would like to share with us? So just your daily life leading up to Christmas which includes anything special your family does like watching Christmas movies etc. 😊

Hi Kelly, I first found you for frugal living. You use the apps you have very well. I wouldn’t be wasting your time trying other things. It’s the money management that people are wanting to know. Some people just don’t know how to do it. I like the idea of a week shop is better, giving people ideas on meal prep from your price reduction. I like getting the mark down roast chicken and making soup with it and lunches for my family etc. people are looking for ideas of how to be frugal. My son was with me tonight when I got milk and he saw how much his favourite ice cream costs, he even said I don’t want that. 😊. The prices are ridiculous, we are going backwards. Treats will only be treats now. 💕. Your doing a great job. 💕. Hauls cost money that’s not frugality.
Oh quick tip with shopping - I make a list on the Woolies app as an example - and mark it as “check weekly for specials” and add our every day items but also the things I only it at half price. Then on Wednesdays I check for Thursday buy…many things I’ll only buy half price like bulk rice and personal care items. Saves me heaps. Love your ideas for videos and yes I watch them all lol.
We are trying to live a more meaningful life. So we are only spending on items we need, we are decluttering our house to make it easier to maintain. So I really love your content as it's close to me and how my family is living. Also that your a south Australian like me makes your channel so much more relevant to me.

I love everything and you do what you want to do, because no stress and dont feel you have to do anything other than what you want to do. I agree the cost of living is getting very serious and has been for a while.
Costco is even further away for me, and I do have membership. I never go to Adelaide just for Costco. Mum live 15-20 minutes north of Costco, so we often go to Costco, spotlight, priceline and savers together. When I do an Adelaide run, I'm doing a variety of errands. Easier on the fuel budget that way. Last time I spent only $140, in Costco. Sadly, regular supermarkets rarely have markdowns on gluten and dairy free products in my town, so Costco is actually the cheaper option (but only if running multiple other errands that same day). Excluding Costco, my family are erratic shoppers too. I spent $88 this morning, for this week's shop, saved $38. I only got 1 meat purchase, BBQ ribs, yes, save $6, for tonight's dinner. I will stock up on some markdowns and half price items, like 2 cans of olive oil spray but I got no fresh fruit and vegetables as I have enough.
@@FrugalFunMum My mum is getting older now, so I regularly visit and drive her on errands day. The last one was 2 weeks ago and it was mum's errand day. I'm the only family member (and my kids) in the state. Yes, she had home help come in but there's just somethings she'd rather them not do.
I love your variety of videos and topics. You could talk about bathing squirrels and I’d still watch it haha. I’m at a similar stage to you with kids being older etc. I’m very much a homebody hermit and love the slower pace of life. Like to dabble growing some veggies, plus we have chickens and other pets, cooking basic frugal meals (lots of slow cooker stews and curries etc), bit of art and jewellery making. Definitely a Jack of all trades, master of none LOL. But it’s fun to try new skills and I think it makes well rounded people. I’ve never been a materialistic person or cared about having the perfectly presented home (or life). As long as things are functional then that’s all I need even if they are a bit rough around the edges or made from a bunch of mismatching spare parts 😆. Keep doing You !!! 💜
I shop at Kmart for clothing and toys I can’t get at op shops, the underwear and cheap wire free bras at Kmart are my new favourite 😆 I have a four year old so the toys at Kmart are also fantastic. I don’t shop at Coles because my husband is in litigation/class action for unpaid wages with them. We mostly shop at woolies because we have pet insurance discount with them. I love your gardening videos, I seriously need motivation to clean up our garden!!! I don’t hardly ever clean my kitchen as that’s my teen son and hubby’s job because I do all of the other cleaning and the washing for the family. Hubby and I share the cooking. But I love watching you clean the kitchen, I have no idea why, I just do 😂 Card-making, junk journalling and scrapbooking is my little hobby/therapy and very tiny business I’m building. Oh and I’ll never go to Costco it’s just not my thing and it’s only five minutes from me lol. I love Bunnings but we only shop there when I’ve saved money to buy things we need. You’re doing a great job!! ❤
I’m so tight most of my clothes and household bits come from my buy nothing group. I just got a huge bag of clothes for a family member, lots of brand name for a 10 year old. I grocery shop mostly at Aldi and a few half price stuff from the other big grocery stores.

I have been gifted so much, silk pillowcases, essential oils, lots of books, a huge tool chest that my husband has always wanted that Bunnings had for $1,000, it was filthy but cleaned up beautifully, clothes and household goods so much more. I give lots we don’t need, crockpot, deep fryer and clothes, anything in good nick others can use.
Hi Kelly, found your channel when it just "popped up". I just watch channels, quite happy to just watch what others buy and do. Would say, you started your channel for you and to show others what you do. Why? change it, your not letting people down by showing what your life is about. Do you that's what your channel is about, you can't please everyone.
The gardening is really helping me - I have 3 beautiful raised garden beds my husband built me which are overgrown and my citrus trees need a good prune. Yesterday I found bargain bin garden gloves so got pairs for me and my girls to get started :) :)
Yeah costco doesn't suit me as it's only myself and hubby, but for someone like kristie from thismumathome, it's great for them but doesn't suit all family either. 😊❤
Yep so I have done Costco tour inside to show people prices etc and so for me that would be worth it to help others but we don’t eat half the stuff in there so just to buy things to try or thinking they might look good to get views isn’t worth it for me as I know others do and that’s fine for them I just need to keep real
