I totally agree with you, i have two of this useless router purchased on release date, thinking i will shift to mesh network, by the way all my home routers are from Xiaomi, so i expected to get the same strength and connectivity from these new routers but no... they have a very weak unstable 2.4G coverage, i contacted the official seller i purchased from but he replied with total ignorance of the problem, the same did Xiaomi official site, i made several video's/pictures of the problem but no action from them, update 1.0.83 came but only to add more countries. i believe this is purposely done so you buy more routers.
