This track is literally perfect. The beginning section is a lyrical gut punch with lines like “Mother always said God loves me / but I couldn’t see how he could even stand me”, and then it breaks down into this beautiful math rock section before climaxing at the end with a cacophonous medley of vocals, guitar, drum, and bass. You can feel the energy radiating from Sam here. They know this is a good fucking track and it shows through their passion. This is, in my opinion, the best Jank track by far. It’s inspired work and it almost defies comprehension how three dudes from the DIY scene invented it. It’s such a shame what went down with Lou and Jank. They are easily the most interesting emo band in the past decade. They exploded in a beautiful ray of light that just as quickly dissipated. Thanks for uploading this
