in the future so you don't waste like the diluter, add like a table spoon at a time with the dye so you can see the color and well you add more diluter or add more dye to the color you want lol

Love it! The key with semi permanent dye is to leave it on as long as possible. I've even slept in it for more vibrant results. I dilute with conditioner, and my hair feels AMAZING afterwards.

One of my favorite youtubers supporting my favorite hair dye! It looks fantastic Weylie, and I can't wait to see the purple rain!
This product is deposit only which means that it just coats the cuticle of the hair. The lighter your hair the more bright or vibrant the color will be the darker the hair it will show less and less. Bleaching your hair before roughshod up the cuticle so it will not only just coat your hair and sit on top but it will sink in and last longer. Deposit only hair color doesn't smell because it has no ammonia. The only way to make the Demipermant color last longer is to wash your hair less and only cold water.
Oh and let it sit in your hair for hours or even overnight till it dries and gets hard. It doesn't have ammonia so it won't damage your hair
you can leave it however long you want but the color stops penetrating the hair shaft after 45 minutes so any longer is really a waste of time but you're right it won't damage the hair.

Manic panic and Splat are both vegan and cruelty free as well and Splat lasts forever in my hair. I only do root touch ups. None or them require a developer since they are semi permanant (stain) rather than actual dye. Also, the longer you leave it in for the longer it lasts. I leave mine on a minimum of 5 hours.

I just tried their dye in Transylvania diluted to a dark blue! I love it. The dye smells like grapes (lots of plant based dyes do). It also stains less, which is amazing especially with dark colors! You can leave the color on as long as you want because the arctic mist and all the colors are basically a conditioner. I left mine on for 2 hours hehe. I'm thinking about making a video about my experience! the color looks sooo good on you Weylie!
Arctic Fox is no joke. I've used a bunch of brands before, and Arctic Fox has stayed the best!

you should do a follow up review on this product after you've "lived" in it a while.
pastels require VERY light hair lol. also since Arctic Fox is also a conditioner you can leave it on for a really long time and it'll last longer as well!!

Every hair product I use is completely organic and cruelty free. I've been wanting to dye my hair, but I don't want to stop being natural with my hair. I'm going to look into this hair dye and see what choices there are. The pink looks great Weylie, love it.
Just dye the tips like an ombré kind of way but your natural hair colour fading into the color 😊

Lol your theme on your instagram turned slightly pink and now your hair too! It came out beautiful, it really suits you. I know Panic Manic is cruelty free and vegan as well and smells really good too but it's semi permanent
as a second option, you can save some money by using conditioner instead of the diffuser to dilute the color! I do it that way all the time and it works great.

I've actually used arctic fox before and I LOVE THEM!!! But actually since there's not many harmful chemicals I actually left the purple rain in my hair overnight and it came out gorgeous and lasted about a month if not more.
I have spent AGES looking for something like this and you just pop up with all the answers, thank you!!!
When you mix the diluter and dye in the bowl it's supposed to be a few shades darker than what you want the final colour to look like (:

Putting the diluted in before putting the hair dye in the mixing bowl is like putting milk in before the cereal... haha. The color turned out great though! Nice job

no!! you were right to put in the diluter first.
just like paints, if you put too much color in, it will take a TON of diluter to make it the desired shade (especially with pastels)
it's so much easier to slowly add color and darken the mix than to add diluter and try to lighten it. you can end up with way too much mix that'll get wasted.
What's wrong with putting milk first? :'(

+sunsizzle33 not even just asian hair, but all dark hair. her hair was quite blond but it wasn't blond enough to take the super diluted pink the first time. the lighter the hair color, the easier the dye pigment will show up in it!
Manic panic is great as well!!! There are so many colors (and intensities) to choose from/mix, and it's cruelty free 😊

The hair color looks amazing! i have my whole head a mix of blue and green right now and i used Arctic Fox and loved it! but if you are looking for a cheaper hair dye that is equally amazing, i use Sparks hair dye (which is usually the only hair dye i use). They are also a cruelty free, vegan hair dye and the smell isn't that bad. Its a 3 ounce tube and at first i was worried it wouldnt last me but i also dilute my hair and its lasted me a very long time!( i also shower everyday and wash my hair everyday) and the color has stayed in and faded slowly. Arctic fox and Sparks are my top favorite hair dyes and i recommend using it!

It's also a good idea to not wash your hair before dying it despite it saying on the bottle to wash your hair. The oils in your hair is what the color needs to hold onto and when you wash your hair prior to dying, it prevents the color from being as vibrant as you would like it to be. It's just a marketing ploy to get you to use more of their products
I've always wanted to try pink hair but that would not look good on me. I'm so jealous of those that can. And yes, please do a purple color when you feel like you want to try it~!
Even though you don't wash your hair often you should try oVertone color depositing conditioner in pastel pink to maintain your color! Im using extreme red right now to maintain my red and I absolutely love it!!

Semi permanent will last longer if you do a cleansing conditioner wash more than washing with straight shampoo.

just some impot, the lighter your hair is the more the color will catch. Plus you should leave it on longer. i dye my hair with arctic fox and i let it sit for an hour+. Because these are conditioner based dyes they don't harm the hair :) Kristen Leanne who is one of the co-owners said you can even leave it for 5 hours and your hair will be fine :) xxx
your hair looks so good!! I had a similar color like this before. I had dyed my hair pastel purple with punky color and when it faded, it became a silvery pinkish purple color.

+Han Pham I think the color just wouldn't be as bright and would be pretty dark.
+Han Pham Usually, if you want to dye darker hair, you'd have to bleach it first (to make it blonde), then color it ^^;
+Han Pham if you try it on brown hair you might get kind of a color effect in the sun, but it definitely won't be very noticeable.
+Han Pham Actually, I don't think your hair has to be blonde! SoothingSista (on TH-cam) uses the arctic fox dyes and her hair is jet black. Check out her October favorites 2015 to see her talk about it

its a semi permanent color so it doesn't oxidize so you don't need to apply heat during processing lol. so just a heads up so you don't apply heat to your hair when you don't need to. other than that it came out so pretty 😊👌
lyla lopez I always apply heat when I colour my hair. It opens the cuticle and makes it work better. For oxidative dyes or semi-permanent staining dye.
