From the wonderful hike with history yesterday to this unique place to stay, your channel is one of the most complete channels I have watched. You are truly a travel channel like no other, one of the best I must say.
During the pandemic our local car race track couldn’t have crowds so they installed a screen and became a drive in movie. They have gone back to being a racetrack but was a great idea. Our church also did drive in during the pandemic. Loved sunglasses and no makeup church.
This was a really unique harvest host. Girl, I can tell you all kinds of stories about the drive - in's when I was a young girl and teenager. Yes, lot's of stories. Have a great and blessed day!
yes!! harvest host is such a great connector between interesting businesses, museums, farms and other unique places and regular people who just want to enjoy a fun stop overnight!
this is so cool. l used to go to the drive-in movies when l was in high school, a weekend hangout for years and years. We used to bring our own sodas and snacks because as students we couldn't afford to eat at the concessions
You have great TH-cam channel video 📸 lovely the driving movie 🍿🎥 great 👍 you have beautiful channel video 📸 feel happy see your videos TH-cam 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Just found out last summer that only 20 miles from my home was a drive in, so we went, and on the back row was 4 bobtail semi's that were staying there overnight, because they left trailer down road at small industrial place! The owners used to work there and it gives the drivers a place to park and a movie!! Then every Sunday that drive in is a open "Flea Market " which I didn't know till we went to the movies!! They have Porta potties, but no concession! It's a BYO but no alcohol!! And only $4 a person to get in for movie and 50 cents for Flea Market!! Didn't even know it was there till grandson told us, and will be going again!! Movie and Flea Market too!! And yes, it's PA here and not opened yr round too!! ❤❤ Thanks for video!!
Thank you young lady for bringing this to our attention. I am going to be doing Harvest Host when I start my travels this spring. I will have to look into this one.
This area is amazing to catch leaves.. this entire region of arkansas really... also staying overnight at the theater was awesome.. highly recommend!!!
We stay at a HH Drive Inn movie theater in Virginia every June during our annual camping trip from Maryland to Tennessee. So much fun! They allow us to use the generator before and after show times. The owner even puts treats out for the local deer so they will come join us before the movie. We love HH. People complain about paying for stuff at the host sites but I don't look at it that way. I say I'm paying for an adventure where I also get to stay overnight. Win win for us. We travel in a 5th wheel but I also have a minivan built out for solo adventures while I await hubby to retire with me.
What an Awesome idea, that is what I like about the states, you guys have such great camping spots. Here in Canada, we don't have what you guys have. Part of Canada I live in all drive-in theaters are gone, now if only they thought of this idea. Just awesome idea. I loved drive-in theaters growing up.
HH must have changed their rules because they used to not allow vans even with a porta potty. At least that was my belief and I did ask. I’m glad you had a good time.
Yes, they have started to allow vans, but it’s on a case by case basis where the individual van has to have certain things. And the host can also deny you if you don’t have things that they feel proper for their set up.
I grew up new a drive in. And spent many happy times there😊 and there was another that charged per person, and yes, stuffing friends into the trunk. If you ever watched the movie GREASE with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, they show a scene of this, where trunk is opened and 4 guys climb out

Oh Bunny your telling our age. I absolutely loved drive ins as a kid. I wished they still had them.
Thank you young lady for bringing this to our attention. I am going to be doing Harvest Host when I start my travels this spring. I will have to look into this one.
I love the changing colors of the trees as you drive in. I would be up for staying at a drive-in. 🍿

You’ve inspired me to check out Harvest Host next time I camp! Thanks for sharing your experience! ❤
I think you would enjoy it, they do have a few criteria for qualifying but so worth meeting them to enjoy the properties
It looks like you had the whole place to yourself over night.
I was the only person who was staying for the night so i did and it was soooo great!!

What an awesome place to camp! My first drive-in movie was "Star Wars" 1977. I was 7 years old...LOL! You are on a roll with your adventures!
Welcome to Arkansas. I live in Central Arkansas
Oh nice!!! I love Arkansas and visit a few times a year to see what I can discover!!!
HH must have changed their rules because they used to not allow vans even with a porta potty. At least that was my belief and I did ask.
I’m glad you had a good time.
Love Hocus Pocus and Snacks !
yes such a great movie!!
As a kid, it was fun to get to wear our pajamas to the drive in. 🍿🥤
Harvest Hosts used to not allow you to join if the vehicle wasn’t registered as an RV so it’s exciting that that are expanding

Cool place! Have you reviewed that radio? I'm curious to hear your thoughts about it.
