Yeah cali I do agree that making big bases is very enjoyable, I love make bases with 80-100k upkeep as a solo, I might be crazy but it’s very fun to work on something like a big base as a solo

Built this exact base and the guy that raided me knew where the hidden loot rooms were right away lol. He literally blew through the single door and soft sided the bunker, thankfully it was just after day one and I didn’t put any loot in it, but if the raider knows the base design it kind of ruins it sadly

Could you point me in the direction of a good keybind / settings for rust or make one? I recently purchased Rust. Logged on and was dumbfounded on how much you TH-camrs make this game look WaaaaaaaY easier than it is. I played 46 minutes and couldn't even get off the beach practically. I went to a build server and failed to even make a base (after watching 100s of hours of base making vids). I won't give up. But I can't go back in as ignorant as I am. Any help / advice / direction would be greatly appreciated.
Hmmm I know it’s cliche but just keep at it. I remember my first 100 hours on rust and I never had a base, didn’t know how to make one 😂 so at least you know the fundamentals hahah
You do get used of it but one bit of advice that was game changing for me was to put your “quick loot” (or whatever it’s called) to a mouse button, for example my mouse has a button on the left side but I know a lot of people use middle mouse too :) It might feel weird at first but it becomes second nature to always use that button when looting anything at all and I find left mouse button very comfortable to hold while you hover over loot :)

cali, in order to connect the external tc you just had to connect it with the half wall of the external tc to the top of the door frame
