Great phone and with with extra large battery it never ran out of power.
Few years later my friend went to work for Nokia. Before he was forced to take a company mobile phone, he evaded it for 10 years, so he didn’t have to answer to any after work calls from his boss.

@@vraspus I'm talking about washing the circuit board in general. As for that one, i can see some kind of residue there, can't tell if it's dirt or oxidization.
Looks like it's was purposely covered in dirt for a few days as evidence from pristine, unrust screws and the undamaged keypad membrane.

How many days have you put it in the sand? Good one: first make it dirty and then restore. In few days water and sand can ruin the whole circuit components.
7:39 уже без проводков! знаете как снимается такой ролик? берется рабочий телефон и снимается концовка ролика, затем он пачкается и разбирается, моется и типа ремонтируется, а потом подставляется концовка отснятая заранее.

У меня Нокия 1280 с 2010 года. Потерял на обочине дороги в конце ноября 2018, шел мокрый снег. Ночью подморозило до минус 5 градусов.Знакомый парень, таксист, нашел через три дня, когда снег растаял. Не ремонтировал, разобрал, промыл под краном, высушил. Чтобы запустить зарядку аккумулятора, пришлось использовать регулируемую зарядку от автомобильных аккумуляторов. В дальнейшем заряжал от обычной зарядки. И сейчас пользуюсь.

not waterproof, he washes the part when there is no power. After it is dried, then he connects it to the battery.
There is no damage to the chips if you quickly dry the motherboard from water, but if not, motherboard will be rusted wuth no chance of repair
