Why is everybody complaining about the death scenes?? People, this is a 16th, 17th century show, although they have altered some historical facts, it's still based on real history.. And at that time, there was no free will, no love wins always, no compassion above politics.. It was brutal, bloody, treacherous, and people came and went, were born and died as quickly as striking a blow... If you want fairytales, don't watch history shows.. Don't watch Game of Thrones.. It will piss you off.. :/

In "The Last Battle", Susan was the only one who didn't go to Narnia when all of the siblings died because she became embittered that she couldn't go back and stopped believing in it. :'( That's the second book I know of by Lewis where his characters died because of the German bombings of Britain.

BUT REALLY MARY NEVER WROTE THAT LETTER ITS SOME GUY IN THE SCOTISH COURT. she did it to save Mary so Elizabeth doesnt take over Scotland. so she stalls and talks to the queen while the guy shot the gun but misses becuase the queens lover pushes him who saw it coming. so the plan failed. and they were to be beheaded for attempt murder on the queen. thats it basically.

Lola's death is indeed unexpected. Just when you think she and Narcisse have a chance to patch up, and Narcisse to make amends to Lola. Their relationship was the most interesting bit in Reign! What'll happen in next season? Narcisse helping Mary... somehow, from prison, as part of his revenge for Lola?
As much as Narcisse's character drove me to want to beat the crap out of him, considering some of the underhanded and rotten things he pulled, I WILL give him credit for going to find Lola and trying his damnedest to bring her home to France! And then he has to publicly watch his wife be beheaded. Undeserved death and public anguish.

While Mary was banished from Scotland by her own people, because she was a terrible ruler. All this scene proved, was that the series finale will end with Mary's execution.

So this pair somehow managed to show up in my recommendations. It was a fanmade video that made me ship them instantly even though I've never watched the show. Full of joy that this could be the first ship that would not sink, it gave me motivation to start the series one day. Few hours later I found this. Needless to say the wish to watch the series is now abandoned.
