The chain of events is really funny. Bdubs tries to convince Gem to help him fight the dragon to complete his hard task. Gem, having failed her task, and feeling chaotic decides to use improv to try and convince Impulse and Pearl to go fight the dragon. Impulse, who has Pearl as his butler for the whole session decides to fight it because he knows Pearl has to help him. Gem, on her quest to recruit an army, finds Bdubs again and asks him to join, unintentionally giving him back up. Then to make it even funnier, a group of people decide to come help, only for the fight to basically already be over, and then two of them die despite no one from the original party dying.

I had suggested to get elytra without killing the dragon, but now the dragons dead so that won’t be a thing. I suggested it as a hard task because it would force a green to be a yellow 🤪😸

It's honestly surprising what a voice can do without the speaker knowing. As an elementary schooler, I was pulled out of class for an hour every other week for speech therapy. They told me my s sound was the same as my th sound, but I was distinguishing them (in my own head, at least) so it took most of a year for me to even be able to tell what they meant, let alone fix the problem. After that, I continued to be sent to speech therapy pretty much all the way through to the end of middle school. Nobody actually told me why, and I didn't ask because I assumed I knew. (They assumed I knew, too, I'm sure. But it was a different thing they knew than what I did.) I was very quiet through most of elementary school, and shy. I had trouble speaking loudly enough. Sometimes I had trouble organizing my thoughts into words quickly enough that they still fit into the conversation, and I had trouble catching the pause between two speakers so even when I did have my words together when they were still relevant I often didn't wind up saying them. So I thought, each time the speech therapy group played a board game together, what I was meant to be working on was confidence and social reading to help me be able to speak up. And I don't know if the speech therapy helped, or just having a few more years life experience, but I certainly had way less trouble with all of that by the time I was in middle school. I honestly felt ready to be done with speech therapy; just minor shyness, at that point, nothing that was causing me frustration; but the adults wanted me to continue and I didn't argue. At the start of seventh grade, an assignment for Spanish class involved recording my voice. I wasn't confident in my phrasing or my pronunciation, (one year between Spanish classes, and I felt embarrassed by how much I had lost) so I tried several times. And when I listened to the clips, each had wei rd pau ses in the mid dle of words. I wasn't sure whether the stuttering was normal for me, or something that only happened when I was nervous. And it was like six years later that, when discussing someone else who had a stutter, one of my sisters casually mentioned that she had no trouble understanding them because she grew up listening to mine. Guess it is an everyday thing. And yet, I can't hear it myself, so I could have easily gone a whole lifetime without knowing, because everybody assumed I knew and nobody ever felt the need to talk about it...
I feel like BDubs has easily had the most chaotic and epic season so far. Starting a town, building the entire world for a base, slaying the ender dragon, all within the first 4 episodes.
First gem was the first person to open the portal in the 3rd life series, and now bdubs is the first to finish off the dragon! This is the kind of craziness I love in this series.
49:26 this really is like a prequel to limited life 😆Etho and Cleo establishing their joint home and looks like they just adopted Bdubs lol --- later when Grian joins them that's Etho taking in his nephew in need of a home (bdubs' cousins from the weird side of the family)
1:18: well, BDubs low-key threatening us last episode was the *funniest* thing I’ve seen all season. “Listen up, you little tattletales…nobody is telling nobody nothing!” That will never stop being hilarious.
1:10:52 For anyone wondering, full regen happened because of a known Minecraft bug, basically all player attributes getting reset to their default values after exiting the end portal. This also removes all the effects.
BDUBS! I am SOO HAPPY I cannot contain it!! You are my favorite TH-camr by far and what you pulled off this episode was insanity! I watch your perspective first so I was on the edge of my seat during that whole fight! I was clapping and cheering every time you clutched those falls! 10/10 episode and one of your greatest moments ever!!
This was the coolest episode of minecraft i've ever seen. The stress and terror combined with the usual great humour, the drama of knowing that it ends with the dragon fight, the pathos of getting the final kill, it was all so perfect.
The last minute army to kill the dragon really feels like the scene from Lord of the Rings The Two Towers. When all the bad guys are coming into the krastle at the bottom of the valley. Then they blow the giant horn ready to give up. But then there is Gandalf on his majestic horse. With 5,000 spear-men on horses, and the day is saved! "Look to my coming on the first light of the fifth day, at dawn look to the east."
This episode has a really cool narrative structure Bdubs has a hard task that he is preparing for, then stressing that he can’t get done. Because we know Bdubs, we know this task is hard and thus he is the underdog. Just in the Knick of time his friends come to help due to seeds he planted earlier unexpectedly sprouting, and the underdog wins! I feel like I’ve watched a movie.
This was such and EPIC episode! The stars truly aligned for Bdubs, not only did Gem unintentionally assemble a dope crew for him but they also let him get the kill because their hearts were low. I was worried someone else would get the final blow, especially after a bunch of other people hopped in, and then it wouldn't count towards his task completion but they basically let him finish the dragon. Couldn't have worked out more perfectly!
I was so worried the yellow swarm would ask him if that was his task before he finished or turned it in! He was watching the egg get collected and I was like RUN BACK TO TURN IT IN NOW
@@cassandrabreit5029it worked so well for him, one yellow gem already guessed him and didnt go in the portal, one yellow lizzie was trying to snipe the kill but forgot a pumpkin head AND was chased by an enderman so she didnt have time to guess bdubs, and Impulse task was, well.. u gotta watch his pov cuz knowing his task and pearl's makes this 1000 times better!
Watching Tango's video, I thought half the server joined up to kill the dragon, but no, Jimmy and Martyn really hopped in at the last second just to immediately die.
if this was scripted it couldn't have been better, so good! also really appreciate etho upping the tension every few minutes with his "ohh you're sweatin!" commentary hahaha
By the way Bdubs season is going im putting him as a candidate for winning it all. Lets not forget that he was the last man standing against Scar and Grian in season 1. LET'S GO BDUBS
gem opened the portal, set up the party, and also didnt guess bdubs task even tho it was obvious. she is a true hero! bdubs should owe gem something for next session 😊
I was so waiting for her to be standing at the secret keeper after the dragon died. "Oh, btw bdubs, was your task to kill the dragon?" Basically the whole gathering the army for the dragon would've been a setup to fail bdubs task.
Honestly I think Pearl and BDubs should have been able to keep theirs lol. All the others who just went through the portal (Impulse included) shouldn't but beating the Ender Dragon and having it restore hearts is a great high risk, high reward mechanic.
other peoples accept that gain the full hearts is a big reward for hard task from kill the dragon. Pearl : oh it seem like a bug , I need decrease my hearts down before press the bun. XD
The games internal logic for an end respawn reuses the code for death respawning with some extra stuff like keep inventory. It doesn't surprise me it resets your health with the plugin, as it's probably triggering the death event.
The problem is anyone going to the end and back, without defeating the dragon can heal up. I was agreeing that killing the dragon should heal, but not just visiting.
@@liamengram6326I dont see why impulse shouldnt get the hearts if the other 2 do, he was there and helping from the beginning. I think those 3 could have fairly kept the hearts if that was how grian intended the game, but it clearly wasn't intended so I think it was alright to deduct them back too.
Bdubs is the mastermind and the pro in this episode. He plants the seed that makes gem put together an army that allows him to take on the dragon. And he TWICE did an water bucket clutch!
I find it really funny that at 1:08:30 Bdubs was 1 hit away from killing the dragon and because he didn't, that lead to Jimmy getting killed by the dragon. Almost like Jimmy was upset that Martyn was the first red and needed to instantly become red with him
Bdubs, your burning bush looks good. In my experience in lawn care I found that you can literally cut them down to the roots flush with the ground and they will grow back in force. In fact, we had a small area where we held recovered plants for future use on other jobs etc. and did quite the bit of experimenting with those. Pretty hard to kill. So if they get too woody and big just cut them really far back and by the end of the next growing season you have new growth that you can shape how you like.
The pruning job looks good, from what I could see all the cuts were good and the tree should be healthy. With buring bushes you could be more agressive if you wanted it smaller but if a big bush is your goal then it is perfect.
I love starting the ep and seeing the hard task, knowing what I know from watching Jimmy's first. Always fun watching everyone's perspectives piecing everything together as I watch all of them.
Task idea: You may only speak to people whilst standing at least two blocks higher than them, for at least 30 minutes. You must interact with people during this time. Slipping up resets the timer.
Honestly I'd be shocked if they allowed that. Like just walk into this room, cross a bridge, and you can go back to full health? Its too easy of an exploit it wouldn't feel fair i think.
In the end all cards fell onto bdubs hands and he was able to succeed the difficult task. I was so anxious watching this thinking how would anyone who isnt a speedrunner do this task alone. Oh so glad he ended up fighting with friends and not all alone
That wasnt supposed to happen. The respawn code for returning through the end portal uses a modified version of the death code, so the mod thought he died because they didnt think they'd need to program the mod to work around that.
I love how awesome it is to watch all the other perspectives. At 18:00 you can see Joel interrogating Grian in the background. It's awesome to notice all the little details in the different perspectives. It's also funny how often you can hear someone chasing Scar down to try and get him to take his helmet off.
"I've never seen you so productive in Minecraft before" -- that's really saying something as these two have been playing together for over a decade! Great Content!!!!
Task Idea : Don't mute for the entire session. Yellow Task Idea : Successfully spy on 5 people and call out atleast one of them of their task correctly. Red Task Idea : 'Accidentally' push someone off a cliff without punching. They must take atleast 5 hearts of damage.
I'm actually so insanely proud of this it's making me so happy, I was cheering the whole time for a success and my jaw dropped when Gem came back and said she was assembling a team!! That was so amazing to watch, my heart was in my mouth with all of those bucket clutches! Well done, Bdubs, congrats on being the first in the Life Series to KILL THE ENDER DRAGON!!
Absolutely crazy that Bdubs gets paired with Pearl and Impulse to kill the dragon with Impulse having the task that he cannot kill anything and Bdubs having to kill the dragon. And then Gemini offers the perfect cover for Bdubs to complete his task while just doing what Gem asked him to do...
This is the best episode ever! Every time you have conversations, I especially felt it when you were asking Etho and Cleo to free the End with you, it feels so TV, so cinematic with all the ambience audio stuff you got going on (and to mention your own personality). And the episode was just so crazy intense I am so impressed how well you did and how everything came together with Gem banding a dragon killing crew at just the right time. Finessing the water bucket fall enough times to save your life. You, Pearl, and Impulse are a really fun combo too.
That worked out so well and Impulse/Pearl were so wholesome, that was lovely to watch. And hitting the button ASAP was totally the right thing to do in the moment, glad Grian said take your two favourites cos that was a rollercoaster already!
That was one of the best episodes of minecraft I've watched. Everything worked out so perfect and the unexpected back to back bucket clutches out of bdubs sent me
Im late, but its funny that etho actually tried to gaslight people into thinking he built the crastle. It was unsuccessful but the fact he didnt know he was gaslighting right then.
That was epic ! That was probably the biggest achievement on a Life Series. Bdubs was integral in sharing the idea with Gem which led to things falling into place and Bdubs was ready to go alone if it came to it. Bdubs, Pearl and Impulse were a great team. The clutches were incredible. Even with Impulse not being able to hurt mobs, they all managed it and so happy that they succeeded. Truly wonderful to see. GG! 🎉🎊🎉🎊
It was so wholesome seeing how you completed this task just cause gem changed her mind, it was so innocent and genuine. And they let u get the achievement. Peal perspective is crazy she is mvp ngl
Bdubs clutching twice was some of the most epic content I've ever seen. All over the minecraft multiverse, kelp blocks crafted themselves, noteblocks rang out, dirt bugged out trying to become mycelium and grass in the same tick, a beautiful custom mountain sprang up out of the minecraft terrain, the word castle had an r added to it with a royal flourish, and every glass pane augmenting a wall for aesthetics shimmered and rung out... The Minecraft world rejoiced. All in celebration of the builder who lived.
I know it's hindsight, but during the little server tour the horse crew went on, you should have suggested to everyone you tour the end portal as well, it's part of the server after all, and hey while you're there maybe everyone kills the dragon maybe someone accidentally fell in
That was so epic! Best episode of the entire series. Idk how that could possibly be topped! ❤ Task Ideas: 1. Keep Bdubs away from Etho for at least 30 minutes. If they get within 20 blocks of each other the time resets. If Bdubs calls you out, you fail. 2. Keep Bdubs off of a mount for 30 minutes, if he uses a mount the time resets. Note: he must travel somewhere at least once during the 30 minutes. 3. Drop at least 10 show/movie quotes in conversation with Skizz, if he "name's it" the count starts over. 4. You may not answer questions for the entire session. Anytime someone asks you a question, you must either answer with a totally different, irrelevant, question, or walk away from the conversation and act like you never heard them (this includes wrong guesses about your task from yellow players). 5. Get three different players to help you with a simple task (collect a resource, build something, find another player, etc) and when it’s done act like they asked YOU to help THEM. If any of them guess this task you fail. 6. Replace the leaves on Mumbo’s tree with a different type of leaf. If he catches you, you fail. 7. Dye Etho’s sheep. There must be at least one of every color available. If he catches you/ calls you out, you fail. 8. Place a boat in Lizzie’s house 3 different times. She must remove the previous boat before you can place another one. If she catches you, you fail. 9. Hide 10 chickens in BigB’s “back rooms.” If he catches you, or kills all the chickens before the end of the session you fail. 10. Convince someone to reroll for a hard task. If they call you out, you fail.
This season was such a banger. I love watching the same perspective i originally watched after and ive grown to watch bdubs since. So rewatching this and also being reminded of the things i saw then and to see the perspective and whole other story that happend idk how long ago is spectacular.
It was so good that early on, he gave Gem the idea of killing the Ender dragon, and that action helped him a lot in forming a capable team to do the task.
Task Idea: Have a continuous conversation with a player while visiting at least 3 landmarks(The Mounds, Backrooms, Cherry blossoms, Heart Foundation, etc.). If they leave, redo with another player.
A grandiose comedic calamity 😂😂😂
It’s a glorious disaster and I am so here for it
I can already see the animatics on the horizon
Made even better by Impulse's secret task! (don't want to say what it is and spoil it)
And now there are two reds

so stressful lmao
I get so stressed when they talk about their task without muting! Lizzy does this a lot too
I literally screamed when he did that 😭
it’s so stressful because martyn tends to sneak around and listen to people’s conversations to try and get clues on what their tasks are 😭

“Listen up, you little tattletales…nobody is telling nobody nothing!”
That will never stop being hilarious.
1:10:52
For anyone wondering, full regen happened because of a known Minecraft bug, basically all player attributes getting reset to their default values after exiting the end portal.
Honestly, appreciate that you don't include other people revealing their tasks in your video. Kept it more interesting to watch other POVs
killing the dragon definitely makes up for incorrectly succeeding a task
This episode has a really cool narrative structure
Bdubs has a hard task that he is preparing for, then stressing that he can’t get done. Because we know Bdubs, we know this task is hard and thus he is the underdog. Just in the Knick of time his friends come to help due to seeds he planted earlier unexpectedly sprouting, and the underdog wins! I feel like I’ve watched a movie.
From Gem's POV it looked like she already had plans for the dragon.
“I’m a friend.” Bdubs said calmly.
The burning bush does look good Bdubs! It grows very fast, so it'll fill out in the spring!
Are burning bushes called that because their twigs are used for kindling?
@@BingBongWitchI think it's actually of their bright bright autumn colour
I hope we get an update on the burning bush when it wakes up in spring!
Bdubs yelled the task out with an unmuted mic…he got lucky
This entire episode was Bdubs getting lucky.
But I agree.
21:50 I thought Gem was being super mean for the bit and I was shocked until I remembered her task, LOL!
By the way Bdubs season is going im putting him as a candidate for winning it all. Lets not forget that he was the last man standing against Scar and Grian in season 1.
LET'S GO BDUBS
Let's also not forgot too he won a couple of the UHCs too, he's not dreadful at PVP 😁
BDUBS FOR THE WIN!! I want it so bad I’ve wanted him to win since S1!!!!
If he doesn't win at this point I would be devastated. He has really done the most so far.
If Bdubs wins, all the other Mounders win too. If he won, I would be happy ❤
41:41 Most epic response to "I will give you what ever you want", that I can think of would have been "I will give you an anvil for the world".
gem opened the portal, set up the party, and also didnt guess bdubs task even tho it was obvious. she is a true hero!
bdubs should owe gem something for next session 😊
I was so waiting for her to be standing at the secret keeper after the dragon died. "Oh, btw bdubs, was your task to kill the dragon?"
Basically the whole gathering the army for the dragon would've been a setup to fail bdubs task.
she guessed already at 23:30
@@edaphixbut she didn’t ask if bdubs had to kill the enderdragon, just if he had to get someone to go to the end with him!
@@mincloudmincloud i think thats the point, since she already had a gues she couldn't guess again at the end
Yeah ok ....strange take
Letting Bdubs do the last hit is sweet. Shoutout to Impulse and Pearl
I’m surprised going through the end’s portal isn’t reward enough, and granting back full health wasn’t a designed feature, that’s a big feat
What a legend, 1st ever Boogeyman and now 1st dragon's slayer of the Life series.
I was so worried Bdubs would fail on a technicality by not being the one that got the kill, but it worked out so well in the end. (Pun not intended)
Bdubs is the mastermind and the pro in this episode. He plants the seed that makes gem put together an army that allows him to take on the dragon. And he TWICE did an water bucket clutch!
From Gem's POV it looked like she already had plans for the dragon even before Bdubs tried to recruit her.
I find it really funny that at 1:08:30 Bdubs was 1 hit away from killing the dragon and because he didn't, that lead to Jimmy getting killed by the dragon. Almost like Jimmy was upset that Martyn was the first red and needed to instantly become red with him
That is a very strange line of thinking.
Depends on the plant. I wouldn't do that with a juvenile in a pot. Plants in pots = less hardy
It also depends on what climate BDubs lives in. Advice for a warmer climate will not necessarily be applicable in a colder climate.
Bdubs talking about his task while not muted is Scar playing Hardcore energy
Etho could have just said "wrAHAng!" but instead he went straight for "incorrectAHA." What a legend. 😂
Task idea: You may only speak to people whilst standing at least two blocks higher than them, for at least 30 minutes. You must interact with people during this time. Slipping up resets the timer.
This would be hilarious 😂😂
Put suggestions in Grian’s comments, he’s the one that adds them in
@@emilyrattini8462 I thought it's been said that the ideas may also be picked from the comments of other participants?
resetting the timer is too much imo.
@@iceneko9170 Then what do you suggest? Outright failing? By resetting the timer they at least get another chance.
watching the team come together and seeing dubs win his task was so beautiful. I cry
Jimmy and Martyn dying almost immediately after entering the end was such karma lol. Absolutely flawless ender dragoning Bdubs
Killing the Ender Dragon is such a momentus occasion! WOW! It's crazy how neither Bdubs, Pearl, or Impulse fell in that fight 🤯 EPIC STUFF
Never doubted…and have never cheered more with the bucket clutches!! S-tier play, DBubs!
When Ethoslab is cowering in his boots, bdoubleO100 is slaying the ender dragon. Oh how the mighty have fallen
Apprently, when you leave the End, you heal fully. That, my friends, is a glitch that will be exploited.
Honestly I'd be shocked if they allowed that. Like just walk into this room, cross a bridge, and you can go back to full health? Its too easy of an exploit it wouldn't feel fair i think.
Oh poggers! Bdubs really slayed this episode.
6:02: BDubs, your base is SO freaking COOL!!!
I definitely think so too!
Bdubs redeems himself for UHC Season 9! It's been a long road since then, but I'm proud of you!
In the end all cards fell onto bdubs hands and he was able to succeed the difficult task. I was so anxious watching this thinking how would anyone who isnt a speedrunner do this task alone. Oh so glad he ended up fighting with friends and not all alone
Did he notice it fully healed him too to 30 hearts? He gets the full 20 heart prizes! Way to go BDUBS!
that's why he needed to choose 2 in the end
That wasnt supposed to happen. The respawn code for returning through the end portal uses a modified version of the death code, so the mod thought he died because they didnt think they'd need to program the mod to work around that.
I love how awesome it is to watch all the other perspectives. At 18:00 you can see Joel interrogating Grian in the background. It's awesome to notice all the little details in the different perspectives. It's also funny how often you can hear someone chasing Scar down to try and get him to take his helmet off.
bdubs is literally my last pov to watch and i’m so happy that his task was actually killing it
"I've never seen you so productive in Minecraft before" -- that's really saying something as these two have been playing together for over a decade!
Bdubs: i wish i was yellow rn
Grian: i wish he was yellow rn
chant it from the rooftops! Gem is GREAT! GEM IS GREAT! She set you up perfect and you spiked it!
good job bdubs!
Watching Tango mimic Mumbos actions from a third POV is hilarious 😂
Bdubs: Looking directly at endermen with none charging him
Me: Never looking at them and i get 5 randomly chasing me
44:33 That's a 2 stick (and 3 plank) horse Etho's got!
(For context, boats used to break into 2 sticks and 3 planks)
I'm actually so insanely proud of this it's making me so happy, I was cheering the whole time for a success and my jaw dropped when Gem came back and said she was assembling a team!! That was so amazing to watch, my heart was in my mouth with all of those bucket clutches! Well done, Bdubs, congrats on being the first in the Life Series to KILL THE ENDER DRAGON!!
gg Bdubs xD Nice loophole in the system getting all that loot when you handed in your task with the hearts reset after coming back from the end xD
Not only bdubs complete his task. He was the MVP with killing the dragon.
Great job bdubs!
The plot armor in this one was amazing, everything just came together so perfectly.
Bdubs muttering "Quirky era Etho nightmare" SENDS me
Task Idea: leave signs saying "Gem is Great" at everyones bases, including your own, without being called out.
Best episode of the season so far. Now I want Bdubs to WIN this season
Task ideas:
-Dont use a shield for 50% of the session
-Be someone’s secret admirerer, if someone figures out it’s you, you fail
That worked out so well and Impulse/Pearl were so wholesome, that was lovely to watch. And hitting the button ASAP was totally the right thing to do in the moment, glad Grian said take your two favourites cos that was a rollercoaster already!
That was one of the best episodes of minecraft I've watched. Everything worked out so perfect and the unexpected back to back bucket clutches out of bdubs sent me
yellow really is a good Bdubbs color. I don't even know why, but when he said it I was like "yeah, that is a good choice".
I can’t wait to see what your hard task is! I also saw that you killed the enderdragon in pearl’s episode so I’m excited to see how you did that! :D
Coming here, after seeing Pearl's episode, and I still cannot believe that was your task all along. That was incredible XD
Task Ideas:
“This thing’s goin to the glue factory” LMAO
This season was such a banger. I love watching the same perspective i originally watched after and ive grown to watch bdubs since. So rewatching this and also being reminded of the things i saw then and to see the perspective and whole other story that happend idk how long ago is spectacular.
Task idea: be Jimmy’s bodyguard. You can let him in on the secret and he can NOT tell anyone. (Jimmy you heard me)
Only Bdubs would have an almost impossible tasks but end up finishing it with hearts overflowing. CRAZY RNG. IN BDUBS WE BELIEVE!!!
Fantastic job, BDubs! That could NOT have gone any better.
It was so good that early on, he gave Gem the idea of killing the Ender dragon, and that action helped him a lot in forming a capable team to do the task.
BDUBS YOU FREAKING CLUTCHED IT THAT WAS AMAZING!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Task Idea: Have a continuous conversation with a player while visiting at least 3 landmarks(The Mounds, Backrooms, Cherry blossoms, Heart Foundation, etc.). If they leave, redo with another player.
