As a fan of Dynasty Warriors games since 2, seeing Cody's game mode is giving me large nostalgia vibs.
One thing most newer games were missing was a mode like this, sure the battles are the same but there is more variety than doing Yamato's over and over again, the fact the main game's coins and stats are there as well is just *chef's kiss*.
Also two questions:- 1) What is the max Day/Character lever for this mode? and 2) Do you think the next DLC will take us to Level 30?

Yes I was finally able to complete soul map 1 and with the soul seeker skill even better
I think, I found a hella fun way to spam as Koby: move away from the boss for some distance, then start alternating triangle and dash, and you will basically spawn a lot of soldiers who will fire at the boss themselves
Kobys' special log is so much fun. I was a literally worried about grinding the souls for soul map 3 because I never finished 1 and 2 (I was close. Just didn't grind the defense souls), but after about a few days, I've completed soul map 3 and the remains for the first 2. This is behind a paywall, but it is absolutely worth getting and its cheap. My only wish is that we could've done these with other players. I just think that would've added to the fun
It would have been so cool if it was co op
To be fair, soul map 2 and 3 are also behind the same paywall, so if you don't have the dlc you're only really worried about soul map 1
@CaptKami18 True, true. I had soul map 2 when the Yamato log dropped, and I just never bothered to finish the grind. It's all good now since I finished all 3 thanks to Kobys.
is the kobys special log included on the 30 dollar i payed on pass?
@Joshua-ff4nd it is not. The special logs are separate from the character pass, so you'll have to buy his special log if you haven't.
So far my favorite mission is Scout Commander once he spots you more enemies appear and that's what i like kicking More A$$ can't complete the day with getting a S-Rank!
TBF, the Soul Maps beyond the 0th one are behind those same paywalls so if you’re not willing to pay to get either of them, you’re only completing that 0th Soul Map to get to Level 21 and some levels for meh skills.
Yamato’s Adventure is great for farming lots of specific soul types whereas Koby’s Combat Chronicle is better for farming a variety of Souls in potentially smaller amounts. With Yamato’s Adventure you at least know what you’re getting into each time while Koby’s Combat Chronicle is a bit of risk vs reward (which gets mitigated with certain skills, but who knows, even with those skills RNG might send you back to Day 51 if you’re really unlucky, which that isn’t the worst. Least you’re not starting all the way over).

@@VariedGeek Oh for sure Koby’s Combat Chronicle is a welcome change of pace. I’m just saying that if you need more specific souls and something less RNG heavy, Yamato’s Adventure still fills that niche since otherwise if you’re looking to get the large souls in the Combat Chronicle and they’re not among the guaranteed awards for getting through the week, you gotta hope RNG is kind enough to give you some then as you power through to the days where you are guaranteed to get large souls.
I agree this mode is less tedious then yamatos adventures

Idk if i'm doing it wrong but... i just hate the mission of "beat commanders in an specific order" idk if its order of names, of the place they spawn or what, just hate. I can be 20 fck min doing that stage aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa rage quit at this point. Some tips?

Literally just use regular kaido and spam his squar square triangle move amd you will get through all of these faster thn any other character
If you get past stage 50 as a character and u wanna play another character do you have to start from day 1 again?

If u don't already know by now but you can play any character you want but you have to commit with it, if you want to play another character u have to restart your progress so use some Top tier characters like Roger, whitebeard, gear 5 luffy and so on for best completion time 👌

Yamato dlc is best to farm. Koby's dlc get more tedious and drags on too long.
Yamato dlc is fun to use for grinding.
Bro the worst possible thing just happend man i lost my saved dated that had my 300 mil berries all the characters i upgraded to the max i almost deleted this game but now i guess i can grind again 🥲 but of course it happens when i buy the dlc 😑
