Okay, so I did my best to include all the parallels I could remember, but if there're any paralells missing, let me know and I'll include them in the next parallel video :)

When I saw the "I was there. Where were you?" parallel I fricking lost it. I NEVER realized that. It's literally word for word. Wtf!? This OTP will be the end of me.

Never will understand how people don't. The bromance argument kind of makes me want to kick puppies. The fact that I was able to write a 50 page thesis composed more than 50% of tweets and comments from producers, directors, authors, etc pretty much saying it's real should itself be enough (Kripke, Carver, Edlund, Sgriccia, Thompson, Michaels, Berens, etc). A few desperate folks cling to a tweet from an arbitrary author out of context like that un-writes what another author intentionally wrote and I just. Ugh. Never will understand the refusal. "I mean I know it's in the script and the film and the text and the subtext and the actors and the authors and 90% of the production team but I just don't see it idk" confuses me.

They can't even say Dean is totally straight because we've seen his reaction to Dr. Sexy. He looked like a fucking hormonal girl who just saw the guy she has a crush on for years. That was a look of adoration. That's how I look at chocolate! And I love chocolate!!

See, I can respect people who don't ship Destiel. There's nothing wrong with that. The issue is when they attack us for shipping it. Even if one doesn't see it themselves, it's definitely not something we created out of thin air. They have so many unbelievable love tropes that they still deny and at season 12, I'm starting to get the slightest bit pissed off. Of course, I won't attack anyone for not shipping it, and I will never harass the writers or actors, but there are no barriers anymore for this to happen. Besides, it's not just teenage Tumblr fangirls who ship it. Take my parents, my siblings, Curtis Armstrong, even writers for god's sake. What is happening anymore??? Beautiful video, by the way. It conveys many of our justifications for why we didn't make this up. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you so much! And I totally agree with you (a few days ago I said something similar on Tumblr), I mean, why do people who don't ship Destiel have to be so mean? I respect everyone's opinion! My best fried watches the show and she doesn't think Dean is bi, but she doesn't hate Destiel either. She just has her own opinion, which is great. In fact, I love hearing her telling me why she doesn't believe in a bi Dean BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T HATE CASTIEL, she doesn't try to change my mind! She just gives me her opinion and I do the same. I tell her A THOUSAND REASONS why I think Dean is bi and she listens to me too. My mom, for example, she isn't a hardcore Destiel shipper but when she saw episode 13 from season 11 and the monster who looked like Amara told Dean that she could see the love inside his heart, except it was cloaked in shame, my mom was like: "Oh my... he's in love with Castiel", because it was obvious that Dean wasn't in love with Amara (he himself said so later on). So, who was that person Dean felt a shameful love for? It couldn't be Sam. Why would he be ashamed of the love he feels for his brother? So the answer is in neon lights: Castiel. What I mean is that people who aren't haters but aren't shippers either can see why we believe in Destiel (just like my friend and my mom (well, my mom is a shipper, but not a hardcore one)). So haters, please, I know this sounds ironic but STOP WITH THE HATE!!
I know. You can ship Destiel. You can not ship Destiel. The issue is when people start attacking each other. When someone says that the other side is delusional, it's just stupid. It's an interpretation. Despite how much these beautiful characters mean to us, how much we love them, they are honestly *shudders* fictional. To say one is stupid for interpreting this character as something you don't believe is true is just disrespectful. I've spent hours reading back and forth discussions on this on articles, and in the end, it's an opinion. There are endless counterarguments for this topic. I've heard "but Dean is straight," but there's so much canon things that suggest otherwise. Besides, since he identifies as straight, we don't know for sure if he has actually questioned it. If he was gay/bi/pan/whichever, we wouldn't, simply because we would know for sure that he's thought about it. on Cas' side, I honestly don't see anything against it. He's an angel. Sexual preference doesn't matter to him. He's probably pan. Either way, this ship isn't coming out of thin air. They've won Teen Choice Chemistry, 1st place on Tumblr's most reblogged ship, and Ao3's most popular ship. We didn't make this shit up. I didn't even know of Destiel until I was just casually watching 6x20 for the first time, and it all rushed to me and my life was pretty much over. You don't have to ship it. You don't see it, that's perfectly fine. It just bothers me when people say we got all of this from desperation for them to be gay. See, until nearly a week ago, I didn't ship Johnlock. I saw them as very close friends and nothing more, despite my tendency to ship anything and everything. What did I do about it? I agreed that they had subtext. I saw the parallels and accepted it. If Johnlock became canon, great! Plenty of representation, fandomaniacs' dreams come true. I will love the show as long as I watch it for being the show. Supernatural would never make Destiel canon if they didn't know how to do it without ruining the sanctity of the show ((and forget about Sam and the heavy family themes)). They just wouldn't do that. I think we all need to accept that Destiel either will or won't happen, but we need to be respectful of each other either way. By the way, I really liked you rant on it. *finger guns*. This rant I made was far too long and professional-sounding. In reality, I'm just a frustrated teen who obsesses over the relationship of my favorite fictional characters and is almost completely naked, and reading fanfiction while listening to Twenty One Pilots.
LOL! You know what? The first time I realized Cas was in love with Dean was in 6x20 too! I mean, the way he looked at him... and Dean, I think he knows there's something different about his feelings towards Cas, but he doesn't know how to name it. His development throughout the seasons has been really HUGE! And I'm looking forward to seeing him keep developing his feelings in s12 :)

I wouldn't call myself a Destiel shipper - but I'm not blind. It's so obvious that they're in love. I think the characters just don't understand it yet. I'll be mad if they don't ever break this tension by the end of the show.

I've been reading some of the comments and I agree that Destiel shippers don't deserve all the hate and flaming they get. Personally I don't ship Destiel, but that doesn't mean I'm blind to the hints peppered throughout the show since Cass showed up in S4. There was an obvious connection from the beginning, which slowly grew. I see it as something more than friendship, but not romance, which I find to be more beautiful than if they were 'attracted' to each other, but everyone is fully entitled to their own opinion.
This was an enjoyable video for me, btw, I always find it amusing to see how much stuff the writers tease Destiel fans with. Lol, they can be so mean to you guys ;)

I showed this to a friend that watches SPN but never thought or knew about Destiel, and she still doesn't see it. I showed her soo many things. She said she needs canon confirmation before she believes it. Tsk tsk.
Amazing video, but missing THE most important parallel - the Led Zeppelin songs. Dean's parents, John & Mary shared Led Zeppelin's songs to test each other's love. Then Dean, gave Castiel his top 13 Zep's songs, his very personal stuff, as a gift (after Castiel saying 'I love you' which then switched immediately only to Dean in past episode when he was dying). This, in my opinion, was the most obvious & most crucial Destiel's parallel of all time.
Ishim loved a human (Angels Rent supposed to have feelings, yeah right). He said he was going to remove the human weakness from Castiel - Dean just like be tried to remove his human love.

Because SERIOUSLY when I was watching SPN I was like HE'S DOING THE MARY WATSON SPEECH because *HE IS* . I'm literally going to make a tumblr post about this because the fact is that both of them were saying 'thank you for all you've done for me' and 'this is the best life i ever lived' while they're dying and Dean & John's reactions like 'no you're not going to die' might not be word for word but it's so close and it's honestly going to make me cry

Basically whatever plots/events that would typically happen to typical canon couples in TV show have happened to Dean x Castiel. Plus the legendaray Mix-tape with 'XX' and many other subtexts? You must be joking if you say they are just friends or brothers.
To me, Destiel is not just 'another man x man couple' that share steamy sex scene, holding hands, kissing etc.
Both Dean & Castiel have had fair amount of scenes indicating they are supposed to be 'straight', attracted to women, but that all the more tells me how 'deep' and 'complex' their affection to one another is; if they love each other that much, love can transcend species (human or angel) or gender (male or female) or sexual orientation (straight, bi or gay). That's the beauty of 'Destiel', which is so inspirational and poetic that we can never find in any other show.
That's why Destiel always stay in a special place in my heart.

What I ended up choosing was Cas, and while describing how the Mark Of Cain side of Dean went down I explained that the time that Cain killed the love of his life is when Dean killed Cas (or at least almost did) and then I proceeded to write "which I will leave right there as subtext"
