    Didn’t get mine to rock climb. So for us it’s great. Love the turf mode & six speed transmission. 👍

    When I read the Title of your video I thought " Are you crazy ", but after listening to your reasons I understand why you want to sell it. Good luck with your new family machine. Be careful and have fun.

    I’ve had one for a few months and I see its limitations on trails, but it I bought primarily as a farm vehicle that we occasionally have fun with, so I’m happy with it in that role.

    I just did the exact opposite. I loved the RZR and it’s capability has no compare as far as tough trails and hill climbing. My issue was it’s durability so I traded it for a 22 Pioneer 1000. If you don’t mind wrenching I think you will love the Polaris

    • @teamderrickadventures230
      @teamderrickadventures230  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The RZR had more travel. Also, parts for the RZR are more affordable. Last, my brother had a RZR and always handled the terrain better than other SXS. I have always wanted to take a talon on the trail though. I see more RZRs and more KRXs than anything else.

  • @azdonw

    Remove the anti sway bar, and the wheels will stay planted much better when rock crawling. We have the 3 seat version and never feel like it's top heavy.

    • @teamderrickadventures230
      @teamderrickadventures230  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the advice. However, I already sold it. I only ride with one person that took the sway bar off and he put it back on. He has a CF Moto though.

      Simply I didn't know anyone that had one. My brother had a RZR and seemed to always handle the trail better than all other sxs in the group. It was on the list along with the Polaris general.

  • @ve3xtr
    @ve3xtr ปีที่แล้ว

    I agree the Pioneer's are all top heavy and not very proportional. Seems like there's more roll cage than body. When towing my Pioneer 700, the trailer would rock from side to side, top heavy. I always thought it was the trailer that was the issue. I recently sold my Pioneer and bought a 2023 Yamaha Wolverine X2 and I noticed on my ride home from the dealer the machine and trailer didn't sway from side to side. The Yamaha is 4 inches shorter and also has a dry sump oiler which lowers the engines center of gravity. The down side going to a Polaris is reliability. You may experience a few break downs. Power is nothing when you're broken down in the bush. That's all I'm gonna say.

    • @teamderrickadventures230
      @teamderrickadventures230  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I noticed the same with the trailer. As far as the Polaris I know many ppl that have them and love them. Hope mine works out, so far so good.

    • @bobbybarnes1652

      Trailers sway when the tongue weight is too light. I pull a 2021 Pioneer 1000-5 (plenty of add-ons, 30" tires on 15" wheels, etc.) on a 6.5x12 SA aluminum trailer and have absolutely zero sway issues.

    • @ve3xtr
      @ve3xtr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bobbybarnes1652 I was referring to the SXS center of gravity which also affects the way it's trailered. Not side to side sway which is an indication of lack of tongue weight. Having owned bother machines, the handling in twisty turns on the X2 is far more stable (body roll) than the Pioneer. If your rock crawling, it's not an issue.

    • @bobbybarnes1652

      Had it for a while now with no problems. It can go places the Honda could not. The machines were made for different things. A cat is not built to pull trailers. The Honda was not made to rock climb. Still a great machine. However, everyone I ride with has sold every machine they had and bought a RZR. They just do great in the rocks.

  • @jimh.412

    Never heard that before. Do you think that's just on the 5 seater that it feels tippy? I have a Yamaha Wolverine X2 but am thinking about selling it this summer and getting a Pioneer Deluxe 1000 3 seater. Yamaha new price increases have probably forced me away from an Yamaha R-max 1000.

    • @teamderrickadventures230
      @teamderrickadventures230  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      5 seater will be worse. It depends on what you want the machine for. If Rock climbing, the pioneer will be top heavy. That plus the suspension will make it lean more.
