Hi, BTR Outdoors, I'm glad I watched your review first. Here's an update. Today on 9/07/2022 Wednesday. You won't believe this. I saw this unit on PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME. It looked good to me at first. But I wanted to get a review on it first. Well you said you bought this two years ago, for 40 dollars at a store you meantion in the video. Now this same unit is being sold for 80 dollars with a monthly payment of 16 dollars a month. I'm glad I did not buy this thing. While listening to your voice, you sounded very disappointed of your purchase. But I was very happy you were able to fix it. But for me though, I will wait to buy another kind, when the time comes. But, in the meantime, Congratulations for being able to fix your unit. Thank You for Your Good Review on this product.
Thank you for the cool comment, you made a wise choice. I cannot believe they wanted $80 ... wow. Let me know what kind you end up getting. Thanks for watching
I never used mine until last night and it didn't inflate my tire but it surely made a lot of noise. Glad you were able to fix yours. Don't think I can.
I have same compressor issue you showed so nicely and detailed I am going to find O ring so far Autozone and Orally did not have the Wright size I will try fix it Thank you so much.
Any luck finding one like the original ring? Ive tried some o-rings but they won't last. The original one that I took off is like a nylon u-cup seal ring but can't find them.
I want to thank you for your video and help me out a lot when I took the device apart and the compression area I was surprised to see the Piston pin was out the plastic piston support wasn't connectedso I took my time and reconnect everything like it's supposed to be and it worked fine thank you very much 👍👍👍😃
It would be nice if I could find the actual seal/ring. It's not a regular o-ring it's like a nylon u-cup seal but I can't find them. What did you end up using?
Whats the right charger for that, i have several 12v chargers and none of them charhe that thing, just the first red light turns on and i charged it like 5 hours....
All mine says is 120 Volt AC Charging Adapter, here is a company info phone number 877) 571-2391 Let me do some more research and I will get back with you. Thanks for watching
After trying a few o-rings it would last a long time (several months) but now the battery is dead.....any ideas for dead batteries. I got my money's worth and the o-ring change prolonged it's life.
Our o-ring is fine, but the bearing rod in the piston keeps basically falling out of place in the piston. Any idea how it is supposed to be kept in there?

Please note that opening or modifying the jump starter is not recommended by the manufacturer and it will immediately void your warranty. Consult your instruction manual for guidance on the safe operation of your jump starter. Please don't hesitate to contact manufacturer Customer Service for troubleshooting help.
My warranty was up anyway, and this is a common problem with the air compressor that they know about and have not changed. Also this is the same manufactures instructions to take it apart to replace the battery. Thanks for watching and the comment , its always good to put safety first
DO NOT BUY, when the device needs repair "Stanley" has a policy that it can not. They do not/will not supply parts to fix it. Could you link the O-ring kit you used please. Thank you

I never used mine until last night and it didn't inflate my tire but it surely made a lot of noise. Glad you were able to fix yours. Don't think I can.

Hey thanks for watching, mine has been working great...have used it a lot lately
What kind of oil or grease did you use for the piston?
Just normal grease, thanks for watching
It would be nice if I could find the actual seal/ring. It's not a regular o-ring it's like a nylon u-cup seal but I can't find them. What did you end up using?
Still looking, my red o-ring kit still has worked the best

Same here
Same here
I have the same issue right now and just wondering if your fix on this is still working? Did it last for a couple of use?
Thank you!
After trying a few o-rings it would last a long time (several months) but now the battery is dead.....any ideas for dead batteries. I got my money's worth and the o-ring change prolonged it's life.
How were you able to remove the plastic ring out of the small slot?
Thanks for watching, the ring was torn up and easy to take off. That was the whole problem, the ring.
Our o-ring is fine, but the bearing rod in the piston keeps basically falling out of place in the piston. Any idea how it is supposed to be kept in there?
Sorry, mine has never had that problem, it's always been the o-ring. If I hear something I will shoot you a message, thank you for watching
Thank you on carefully explaining. Going to give it a try. Grease, can I use silicon spray?
I bet that would work, thanks for watching an thanks for the comment.
Will the oring melt? Is nylon better for heat?
Nylon would probably work better, my o-ring if still working...knock on wood Good question and thanks for watching
Great video! Where did you buy the o ring?
Got it at my local hardware store but seen the same one at Harbor freight. Thanks for watching
@@BTROutdoorswhat size o ring should i buy?
How to charge the hole unit
I plug it in overnight and it maintains a good charge. Thanks for watching
Can you take a pic of new ring, whats the name, where can i get it?!?
My o-ring kit says R-05 if that helps. I just tried one till I got a good fit. I got my kit at Harbor Freight.

Horrible product . After 3 months broke down. The compressor failed .. will never buy again . Don't recommend

Sorry you have had a bad experience with yours, the air compressor is the only thing I have had issues with.
I have a more powerful one, and my air compressor quit working too.
Probably a design flaw, thanks for watching
