the MVP is a matchup nightmare for the Hawks. That team is built on our kryptonite, and without a full team I don’t think we can beat them outside of just getting lucky. should've traded bogi in the offseason, didnt match the timeline and just had the most healthy and best season of his career, his value was higher than it will ever be
Hello from a Nuggets fan! 👋 Really good show and i enjoy your team too. I also want to call bs on those calls by the refs late in the game, especially the flop and soft tech on Trae. The Nuggets have been on the receiving end of that kind of bs from the refs A LOT too so i’m with you guys on that. Yeah, this time they didn’t change the fate of the game but they still unnecessarily interfered and messed up your guys’ game flow. Anyway, much respect to you all and have a great season! 🫡
Can someone explain to me why I've seen reports that the Hawks are taking calls for Capela and Nance but not Okongwu? The way other fanbases perceive him is such a far cry for the player he actually is. Feels like we could really fleece a team who thinks the Hawks are misusing his potential (we're not).
Absolutely great point. Even if you’re an Okongwu enthusiast it’s pretty hard to argue that he is the best fit at Center long term. I think it’s been pretty clear that a Capela type rim protecter has more impact next to Trae Young than an undersized center like Okongwu, even if he excels in other areas that Clint’s archetype doesn’t
@@frawstenIt's really starting to bug me how Trae will attract like 2 or 3 defenders on a drive and instead of being ready for a dump off, I look up and see him all the way in the corner. That's not a shot he's hit with nearly enough consistency this season, and even if he were to show marked improvement on that shot, I'd still rather take my chances with a contested 2 close to the basket. I get he shot the 3 ball really well (for his standards) last season and he's trying to fit into this stretch 5 archetype as an undersized center, but when does Quin tell him that's enough, get your butt down to the dunker spot.
facts man okongwu is just not good, 6'8 center who cant defensive rebound, shoot, or rim protect. im not sure what anybody still sees in him, how is clint still better than you bro?
I'm going to the game on Friday and if Bogey or Jalen are going to be out, I feel like I deserve to at least have a better explanation as to why. Really sucks that the league is like this.

The Magic are playing without 3 of their 4 best players...HAWKS need to figure it out! Hawks aren't tanking this year like alot of the bottom east feeders..so hopefully Hawks can acquire some help by the deadline!! That being said..Jalen and Boggie will help big time when they get back!!
Brad I’m not understanding why not use a raw dom barlow who’s bigger than garrison and Roddy. He kept them in way too long. Dom would have atleast made a difference defensively than those two.
I want Vit, Roddy, Capela, Zeller and Bogi out of this team we need reliable guys off the bench, stay healthy and can play bc other than Hunter, Matthews and OO we need better bench production and a backup pg & backup pf
When that woman ref is only the 2nd worst in the crew, you know you're going to be in for a long night. I couldn't find a clip of Dre's "flop" anywhere online, but to call a flop on Dre as he plays against Nikola Jokic of all people is just gross.
NO Jalen and no Boggie...hurts! Dyson and Zacch have no 3 ball..along with Capella out there as well..that's not going to help Trae! GM..can extend the floor but his D is really bad!
Next season when we play them again, the entire rotation should be forced to take Aderall or some sort of focus-enhancing drug. The off ball cuts they get are their entire offense. Also it felt like every time we had a choice to close out to a non-shooter or to MPJ, they always chose the non-shooter. I'd hope Quin would be livid after this game because they're making him look bad with stuff like that.
Please stop using individual defensive rating. He’s one of 5 defenders on the court And there is no argument that he’s not one of the best guard defenders in the league If you want to say he’s not THE best, then sure you can argue that but on the very short list clearly
I just wanna know why the hawks look like they were waiting for the nuggets to hand it to em. And Jalen shoulder wouldn’t hurt if he learned how to lay it up and not dunk every single play..

only way is tiring him out with 3 bigs and let him shoot 3s but this year he makes them sooo. idk man the passing is absurd
