I love the sound of this mouthpiece. I wanted to know what Warren Hill played and I had discovered it was this one. Vandoren is making it again, but in black. I used to love Sanborn’s sound, but I found Warren Hill to be much cleaner. You can tell Sanborn’s mouthpiece has that metal sloppiness, especially the old Dukoff’s. They were terrible and bad quality full of pits and rough edges. Also horribly soft metal.
