한강 (Han Gang) means "Han River".
한 (Han) originally came from the native Korean word meaning "great, large" and even used the Hanja (Chinese character) for "large" as a result.
강 (Gang) means "River"
한강 is the largest river in the Korean peninsula and was used throughout their history as a trade route. It's the most famous river in South Korea for foreigners given it runs through Seoul and is a popular tourist spot.
