It’s kinda weird to me that X-Raided came out with this EP in ‘91 (and then his first album the following year), before his homie Lynch put out his first EP. Lynch is 5 years older and was already deeper in the game than X, so it’s kinda weird that X blazed the trail for him, and not the other way around.

While Lynch was creating a new sub-genre of rap that was even more hardcore and graphically violent than even Geto Boys, and thus a much harder sell for audiences at the time.
