Ladies and gentlemen it don't get much better than this. I could literally feel SRV being channeled through Kenny here. And with Chris Layton on the kit! WTF? This was a blues Masterclass. Lead singer was MONSTEROUS!
I introduced my son to rock soul and blues. He loved it. Started learning and still playing. He started out with the rap thing , I couldnt take it anymore so I started showing him what real music sounds like. Loves it now and can’t get enough. I couldn’t beat him growing up listening to such nonsense. He has made me proud, he’s always eager to learn. Loves the classics soul and blues. Proud and thankful mom here. ❤❤😊😊🦋🦋
@@rolandhansen8288 Well... I would agree with you but there is Joe Bonamssa, and I would like to see Kenny and Joe to record some tunes together. I think that would be awesome 👌
It skips generations. I'm 44 and on the tail end of real music. Your generation is smart and seems interested in the history of things. The generation between us I call the Facebook generation.. They don't seem to have a clue. No morals
OMG! Been listening to this "kid" since he was 15. Saw him play a bar in Dayton, Ohio. In-fucking-credible! Noah Hunt compliments his blues style with greatness. I'm 66 and still listening and looking for more KWS. This is blues like I love it! Hey! I see Chris Layton on drums....that makes me smile big time.....
I saw KWS with double trouble at a recording session in n.carolina- there was an impromptu little jam at a picnic table and i had asked chris if he minded if i took a few pics- he said sure..someone from the sony bus picked up my camera 'by accident' so, no pics still tics me off...
Just saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd and the band a few nights ago in Atlanta. I must have been living under a rock not to have seen this band before. Kenny Wayne is on another level and Noah Hunt is a fabulous singer and frontman, plus the entire band is excellent. It was a great concert.
Nuthin I can say that they can't! WOW. I've seen lots of masters but Kenny has surely stepped into that arena. All of them really kick, and a giant thanks to the powerful vocals, truly awesome!
5/28/2022 Saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd tonight in Marksville,La. by far the best concert he has done before. Blues like no other than maybe Stevie Ray Vaughan. THAT GREAT 👍
KWS has come a very long way since Blue On Black! Kenny is so fast on his guitar and Noah is Mr. Blues himself! Chris Layton on drums from Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble! Great music here from the man from Shreveport, Louisiana indeed!
I can say one thing and one thing only about Kenny Wayne Shepherd this sums up all the way it’s a blessing to blues Thank God he’ll carry this on to the next generation go get them daddy Kenny you got it down brother you got cheated on the last award but not hard you’ve already got one you got fans
I think Kenny Wayne Shepherd just hopped over several of my favorite guitar players to number one on the best list. I am going to pull my CD’s out that I own of KWS today!
I think the solo in the song after the piano player's done is one of the best solos I've ever heard it's so smooth sexy nasty all the same time tell me i am wrong
There's only one word to describe Kenny, and that word is "AWESOMENESS" ( not sure that word is in the dictionary but if it is the definition should say " See Kenny Wayne Shepherd"!) 🤘Rock on Kenny.
This is pure hard rock n roll, like a shot of good whiskey, and a Harley that screams with the wind when you fire it up! Give it all you got,KWSB,full throttle!
Thanks to Samsung Best of Blues for allowing me to witness this live masterpiece. Without doubt one of the most remarkable performances I have ever seen! This is extreme quality!
Just when I think you can’t get better you absolutely do... in every way! Even better version here. Ace musicians and Noah has epic voice! Keyboard is off the chart... LOVE THIS VERSION.
I'd never listened to the blues until my Momma Deanna introduced me to it years ago. I love it now. You and Jonny Lang are my absolute favorites. And I've introduced blues to my children and look forward to doing the same with my grandbabies ☺️
Blues will never die this Band is amazing each member is a master Hendrix Stevie ray all the Blues greatest the Stone’s love you Music like your could stop man’ n mnitiy to man if they would listen your drummer guitarist bass vocal’s out of this world❤❤❤❤
I truly appreciate y'all posting this. I first became familiar with Kenny in 1983 or 84 when he played with Bryan Lee † at the Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Louisiana was my 'home' for some twenty years and during that time I've seen and heard some really great bands not only in New Orleans but all around the state. But when I seen Kenny, I knew unequivocally I was watching someone special. But make no mistake, Bryan Lee was a gifted and talented blues musician in his own right and he was equally impressed with Kenny. The addition of Noah on rhythm guitar and lead vocals whose vocal range is Mesmerizing and Soul-stirring has, in my humble opinion, taken the KWS Band to a whole new Dynamic and Captivating level. Thank you for posting and I wish y'all continued success for years to come. Be safe 🙏
I've never commented on anything before, but about a year or so ago a name came up saying that other people who listened to this also listen to this, k w s name came up, I had never heard of him, but because my name is Wayne, I clicked on it and heard blue on black other selections while working in my shop with headphones on, it was an instant connection, even though I'm 68 and stuck in the 60's and 70's, and wasn't into that type of music. I'm still stuck in the 60's and 70's I've invited Kenny in to my world
Tell you what. The kid can bring it. I know he’s like 40 something maybe but. He has come a long way not that he wasn’t good when he was younger but now he feels it. The song is pure emotion Kenny Wayne Shepherd is legendary
I saw KWS open for the Van Halen/Cherone experiment at Riverport in St. Louis waaaay back in the day. The KWS Band was amazing. Kenny was incredible. The solo in this song. Dayum.
This was an absolute masterclass performance. KWS Band keeps getting tighter and tighter. I'd like to see Kenny Wayne Shepard and Joe Bonamassa go head to head live. Oh wait---you can if you go on Keepin' the Blues Alive Cruise. It is a veritable buffet of the best in blues music in this day and time.
Loved every minute of this performance. Great band and vocals. Especially liked Joe Krown on keyboards solo @ 2:18 I see a Hammond organ next to him, I hope to see him solo on that some day.
KWS and singer Noah Hunt are masters of their craft. The KWS band has been under the radar for many people but both these men are at and have been at the highest level for a couple decades now and they just seem the get better as the age like fine wine... amazing talent here!
Great song! KWS on guitar, Noah Hunt on vocals, tight bass player and keyboards and yes, that is Chris "Whipper" Layton from Stevie Ray Vaughan's band on drums! No one shuffles like him!
Tom from Oz here, Kenya and Noah came to Australia early on 20 something years ago, Went along to to see him at a local venue, Man......they blew that room away !!
KWS is absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough to see him when first started touring and it was jaw dropping to watch a teenager who could play so well, and see him channeling SRV in this tune.
I've seen Kws live close to 20 times and have not been disappointed once. He and his band keep getting better and better. If you haven't gone to a show, you need to!
Have mercy!! Lord bless you all, crazy good Kenny, Noah best blues/ rock singer, Chris, McCormick, if I missed anyone I'm sorry. I' m so jazzed to see this performance that I might have to call the Dr. I've got the chills, maybe fever 🎸🔥🔥❤👋✌💗
KWS pushes ALL the right buttons on me! 😃 Nice to see Chris Layton has continued to work with Kenny, now there's another one who knows where my buttons are. 😁 Play on, Kenny, play on!
Kenny Wayne could be the best guitarist ever.

I agree! KWS and his band burned down the house with this..
I'm 59 yrs old. Every body should appreciate the Blues
Kenny Wayne shepherd has been playing guitar since age 9 he's one of the best young guitar players alive now

It's amazing that someone your age can recognize great music as this...stay the course !!!

Gotta love Kenny Wayne’s guitar prowess but Noah Hunt has to be one of the best front men in music today, the man is incredible.

Actually, he's quite CREDIBLE.
Nailed it!!! Noah is phenomenal ❤
I love Kenny's guitar playing, so smooth, but noah has GOT to be one of the best singers in Rock or blues.

Kenny’s tone is fucking ripping in this one, real good stuff here
Kenny has more soul than bonomassa any day of the week he should get the recognition
Totally agree with that statement...I’d take KWS over Bonamassa 7 days a week
I agree with the guy who said the whole band is killer

I went to Champaign IL to see BB King and this 17 year old kid opened for him. Been the biggest fan ever since 😊
One of the best live solos ever
KWS at his very finest. its a shame shame shame if you don't go see this guy play when the band visits your city.
saw him 3 times !! badass Blues man
The tabernacle in Atlanta in the 90s! He rocked that old church house off the frame!
