Clearly all of the bad comments saying Kook have never surfed over Shallow sharp Indo reef. Staph infections are not fun. I went to Mentawis this year and trust me you get pretty cut up if you go deep and dont make it. Its the walk along the reef that really sorts your perspective out. Sea urgent in the hand and the pouring of medical grade antiseptic will make anyone fall to their knees. Not to mention the big sets are probably every 30 mins so the wait and keeping in position with the current is a whole new ball game. Great video!
