@@LiquidPr1d3 EQG was like the absolute opposite of what usually happens, when the 1st movie is great, and it just drops off; EQG started off a bit slow, and slowly found it's footing.
The orchestral bits suit Twilight perfectly, and the big band horns add that certain "spark" to it. The bells make the piece sound quite magical, and that's genius considering Twilight represents the element of magic. The rock bit doesn't suit Twilight well, but that doesn't really matter: That awesome buildup wouldn't work with that bass. The piece sounds so grand, especially with the gong type thing near the end, signifying Twilight's powerful magic. Classy Composition. 9/10

I noticed that the main theme of Them's Fightin' Herds actually seems to contain parts of this tune... Fitting since this was one of the few pieces of music used for a FiM trailer.
I'm not a brony and don't watch the show, but not only did this game look like a solid fighter, the music really is amazing. I really can see how much some bronies love this show, the amount of effort put into a lot of fan works is outstanding.
It's a shame the game was canned, but to perfectly honest, my favorite aspect of this game has been periodically released since last October. Both yours and Whitetail's music for this game has been absolutely amazing since the start and I hope that, despite the project potentially being terminated, you two continue to make the music you had planned for the game. Because I know I, for one, would love to hear it.
I'm not sure if it's still there or not, but there's a Tribute Edition that an underground group did, where they finished the game (at least up to the Mane 6, and an extra boss, possibly 1-2 hidden characters, and a bunch of extra stages and bug fixes. Edit: Just checked and the site is still up. Won't link it in case Hasbro tries to have the game taken down again, but you can find it easily. There's also numerous builds that other people/groups have been working on. Needless to say, this game will never die, the MLP fandom can be amazing :D

I remember someone using most of these songs in a cool game on the app store, it was literally called "MLP Game" it was an A-Bit mini mlp game where all levels had 1 theme about each pony and you had to collect either 10 or 20 cutiemarks and I absolutely loved the game and soundtrack. sacred power It was complicated. The short version is that Mane6 accepted money for the game, and so Hasbro was legally required to send them a cease & desist. It wasn't Hasbro being greedy.
Yeah, Mane6 went too high profile with the project. Maybe if the game wasn't shown off at EVO or if they didn't accept money, the outcome would have been much less disappointing.
***** I didn't knew they were accepting money, such a bad move... I thought it was Hasbro's fault, but when you use ANY name that's not owned by you to profit, well, you kinda deserve an C&D. I'm actually surprised they didn't sued right away if that's the case.
