- Hey All, in this video I am on a really awesome adventure of 125 Miles and was out for about 8.5 hours.
I started in Ouray, then I went up to Engineer pass, then down to Lake City and then up Cinnamon Pass to Animas Forks, then down to Silverton, and then back up to Corkscrew Pass, turn around back to towards Hurricane Pass but did a side detour to Hurricane Peak that looked down over California Pass, then back down to Hurricane and over to California, then down Poughkeepsie Gulch, back to Ouray and then I rode Imogene Pass up and over and down aways and turned round back to Ouray. Hope you enjoy the video.
These videos are amazing, you guys are so lucky you have this type of riding in Colorado.
Thanks for the comments! Totally agree, very lucky.
You picked a good area
Awesome vista's! You were at a higher elevation than our highest mountains in NZ. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the ride, I'm headed down there in Sept for a week, staying in lake city, I live in Broomfield CO so not too bad of a drive to get there, same bike, Beta 500, looking forward to it.
Nice one.
I believe your critter is a Marmot.
For sure a marmot
Can't wait to do it on my T7!
Awesome footage!
Thanks, you will have a blast doing it on your T7!
Mate, that looks such an awesome place to ride! So many tracks all through the mountains just waiting to be explored.
Thanks Kane, yeah man an awesome place to ride for sure!
Wow - Excellent video! You did an amazing job navigating some very difficult and scary terrain. Personally i do not like riding on rocky terrain as it is so easy to crash, but you handled it like a pro. I'm considering getting a really nice used '22 Beta 500rss. I currently have a '19 KTM 500EXCF, but I really wanted the Beta.
Great thanks for the comments. You will love the beta, has way more usable power. Cheers Cam.
Great video! We're headed to Ouray in a couple of weeks so this was an awesome preview for us. Did I interpret your timing correctly in taking about 2 hours to get to Lake City?
Cool thanks. Yeah I left the start at 7:50 and hit Lake City at 9:30, so 1h 40min. Thanks for the comments! Cheers
