And I thought that piping is something slow and tranquil - I must be a fool! This is the best piping tune I ever saw. If GOD is a piper - HIS forename is Fred...... Thanks for sharing!
I can't stop listening to it. I find my own fingers a goon. I only wish one day I could be half the piper u are Fred. Gordon Webster teaches me and his son cam has been practicing this tune.
Not only is Fred an excellent piper, he's also a brilliant musician. Try listening to the different recordings of this tune and also a tune by the name "Kansas City Hornpipe" the variations vary as proper improvisations should - absolutely awesome and truly inspiring
This is indeed where country music came from. Ulster Scots/Scots-Irish/whatever you call them came over here and spread up and down Appalachia. By the time these folks invented country music any pipes that had been brought had become unusable, so they made the same sounds as best they could with fiddle and banjo.
Siempre enorme Fred Morrison. Desde Porcía (Asturias)

My pipes kept me warm for hours last night!!!!
if the song was 2 minutes longer = the bodhran skin tears to shreds and the guitar bursts into flames and freds left going solo.XD
I just keep listening! It cheers me so!
Fantastic!!!

Awesome. Sounds like bluegrass banjo music on a set of pipes.

That’s the high drive
And this is why Fred uses bellows!
Fred just gives them a look "D'ya think ya can keep up?"
Who's the fella on guitar?
Hermes incarnate, or Pan, if you refer.
