Got this album on vinyl years ago from an old friend who used to release music on sour and emotif !!!! Still got it and personally think it is a jungle masterpiece!!!! You could select favourite tracks to dj with or play it at home in entirety and it flows beautifully as a whole!!!! This track randomly popped in my feed and I’m now going to hunt out the vinyl because it’s been a while since it’s been on the decks !!!!
pure brilliance this tune will shine on forever not many people know of it, put this tune with a seriously loud system in a field with a warm sunrise. you dont even need the field or the sunrise the tune does it all.
This is one of the best Jungle albums that I never heard of till about 5 years ago. I never even heard of him. I bought the album on Discogs immediately after hearing it for quite a sum of money, but I feel it was worth every single penny. Considering I'm from NYC, there's probably even more one-off Jungle artists (who then made other genre's of music-wise,) but this is literally in my opinion one of the best Jungle albums next to 4Hero, and Gerald's.
T Power was not an unknown producer. Him and Shy FX pretty much did music and ran a label together. His early works are just way ahead of the curve and are still mystifying today. Check out his track Natural Born Killah under is Atomic Dog alias. 😊
Not my favourite cut from this album, but fuck me - if this isn't a prime example of an ambitious, perfectionist producer then I don't know what is. Serious, serious, SERIOUS sequencing skills. I don't think I've heard another D&B producer chop the "Amen" or "Think About It" breaks better than T-Power - and it takes a lot to make those sound fresh...
I still have this on cassete on my techniqs cassete player with that slightly distorted sound. The whole album experience from the begining takes you even higher.
@joolzinspain I heard his Shy FX style shit first, so until now I thought he was a pretty boring/standard junglist, but the first few minutes of this, up until the "rinse out" are incredible. I've got a few OLD T-Power plates as part of a box of oldskool jungle my dads mate gave me back in the day. Full of GLR, Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, some pretty rare shit too. Not played any of the T-power even tho I've had em for years. Now, its time.
@@farben_ It really was massive back in the day. It changed the musical landscape. Now the experimental/expressive components of the music live on in other genres.
junglist movement bruv... you aint old skool... to say you hate MC DET and you call yourself "junglist movement" weird.. hes an original Jungle MC.. you sound very childish tbf..
junglist movement well i spoz you do have the right to your opinion even if its a first for me to hear and old skool junglist say he hates DET... the man creates Vibes no one else can match & has been doing it for years.. as for talking garbage.. haha what MC dont?? They all chat shit.. its the sound and vides they create to get the crowd that matters... never mind.. each to there own. Stay safe!
@p0lym0rph3 Its just like adverts for the new "this" or "that", or a trailer to a new movie... "BEST EVER" "you've NEVER seen ANYTHING like it". But yea, obsessive behaviors bound to weird people out. Its obviously something you gotta expect though, and just deal with it. Whether your famous in a niche like Jungle/DnB etc, or your a world famous sensation, theres ALWAYS gonna be the "worship" crowd. "Keep your nose away from my FUCKING arse mate!"

Fair-Play/Can't fault that and hope you've RINSED 'em right out by now.👍
This is so good it's ridiculous
I thought this tune was part of an EP the had a name of a shape. Like trapizeuim square octagon etc. I miss that EP!!!
Yeah the shapes were the first part of the album - 'Intellect', the colours are the second part 'Emotion'. All tracks mix into the next.
One of the best
Regal and cosmic 🔥

It did, 23 years ago.
