Wow, these Lincoln vehicles are aging a lot better than their Cadillac competitors!
A very tried and true platform and design with a very reliable motor and transmission. It may be dated but will look and run smooth with little to no problems for 20+years. I own the 2011 Expedition with 200,000 miles and still runs and looks new. These vehicles were built to last.
She is Beautiful. I have one navigator and 2 town cars. The only thing that ruined this whole car is the middle console in the middle section. I have it in my 07 Navigator and I'm annoyed of it. But i still love lincolns!
+wearemuzikmindz
i have tow navigator 99 and 2011 bouth are 4wd
and i love them both bc they are great usv
and my 2011 does not come with a middle console in the second row
*****
if you replace it with a seat it will be better
my 2007 doesnt have the middle console. but my middle rear seat is broke and wont fold so its hard to fit items. i transported two bookcases with it luckily with ease
@wearemuzikmindz Exactly. I'd rather have my column shifter minus the dash-to-front seat console. Should make it an option.
You sound like me but I have 2 town cars. And looking forward to getting this one
I Love Lincoln's styling is sooooo vintage :) in a good way. Great Job LINCOLN !
This car looks like something straight out of the '80s.
+spuddapotato2494 That's why we love it so damn much!
in a bad ass way
this looks perfect for summer road trips
I just love the navigator
I always wanted a Lincoln navigator
This must be top of the line, very nice options, even better than my 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. I might have to buy one one of these days even though fuel mileage isn't good but they are popular. Love this Lincoln Navigator L
@kmartaylor Yes, it may have only 310 horsepower, but ford put a lot of effort into that 6 speed transmission and even though it has less power than the escalade, the navigator still can get to 60 in 7.4 sec, only .5 seconds slower than the escalade, and it can tow MUCH more weight than the escalade, 9,200 lbs, while the escalade only can tow 8,700 lbs, and 7,900 if you get a AWD model, its not about how much power you are working with, its about how it is managed, and the navi does a better job.
late The navigator goes from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds. Are you sure I thought he would do it in 9 seconds.
that limited with the lack of all the chrome on the regular models makes this navigator actually look decent. I still think the 03-06 navigators were the best looking navigators.
I love this. It's not the best looking luxury SUV out there, but it has a certain appeal to it that makes me appreciate it. I guess the same can be said about the Escalade; both this and the Escalade sort of fall short of their overseas competition. So I'm definitely curious to see which one of these will come out on top in the next generation.
Very handsome vehicle
I like Lincoln Navigator's. I definitely would recommend one, But in the decision to get one or not is all up to you. The choice is yours.
My two favorite things in one video, rock music and cars
beautiful truck
saul chm this is not a freaking truck
saul chm it’s an SUV why do people call them trucks they don’t have open cargo 🙄
it’s built on a truck platform (same as F150 i think) so it is a truck
Just bought one identical to this one. I love it.
Tasteful yet rugged. This is a car that Lincoln loded with features and just enough class.
Excellent job Mr. Lindsey! The Cadillac Escalade ESV's chief rival is still looking good.
back in the early 2000s, these were wayyy more popular than escalade. But not sure what happened after that. They can barely compete with Escalade now
Lincoln Navigator is one monster of suv
@MySamisbest heck yeah! my dad and i have a 1998 Eddie Bauer Expedition :-) its Really reliable! we just took a trip to san marcus in austin or san antonio ( idk where its at lol ) anyways its like we live in odessa its a long trip o_O. when it got to the Two-lane roads ( where u stay right ) it had no problem being floored to 100. it went with ease! no matter if ford is old or not, it will last a LONG time! same goes for mercury and lincoln xD
@85ZingoGTR Ford has a history of letting their products languish for years without an update (e.g. Ranger, Econoline, Town Car, Crown Vic, Focus, Taurus). Hopefully, the end is near for this huge SUV and it's Expedition sister since vehicles using the 4.6 have been discontinued. Oh, and if you're wondering, this vehicle originated in 1997 and has continued with exterior and interior updates since.
80's on 8 is what I like.
@james699 if the navigator had the same power or more then the escalade I think it would be perfect, and it would be much better then the escalade, but I still really love the escalade though
I am not a fan of the Navigator personally, but it has some nice features. I would personally prefer the Escalade, but mostly for the looks and the more powerful 6.2 liter. The Navigator is a nice alternative though for anyone just wanting something different.
Can the heated and cooled seats in the Navigator turn on at the same time?
yea same here, im just saving up for a used model, it would take me years to save up for a new model
Great vid as always Kyle! What a beautiful 'Gator!
I love the interior color!!😊👍❤️
@MrImacarfan and the cover on the trailer hitch cannot justify people not towing with these because I when I'm not towing I put my cover back on, and I'm sure other people do too.
@androidisbest it's optional.....it has a separate key fob....it optional on all others to. This navigator can come with remote start
Love this car
im just asking but are you aiming to get a Navigator? im 16 and im already saving up for one of these beasts :)
That’s a luxury expedition
i know im young but im getting my license soon and i already have my learners, but still are you aiming to get a Navigator?
Is it possible for you to do a video on the Lexus LFA??
3:50 did you check the parking brake of your car Kyle?
Kyle, big fan of your videos! Any chance you can do the 2012 porsche carrera, it is even out in the us yet? anyway if you do have a chance, I would love your video on it.
Nice!! I love that black!!
22 DISLIKES ARE ESCALADE DRIVERS
ESCALADES SUCK NAVI IS BETTER
Cyber Gaming the Lincoln 2020 is way way better than the 2020 Cadillac the 3rd row seating is so uncomfortable 😣
Nice suv!
I never see these so I never realized how beautiful this is. I'd say this definitely beats the Escalade.
wow it is awesome !!!
thx kyle
Leave it to Ford to put the controls for something as far away as possible, i.e. the buttons for the "drivers information center". I have never been able to figure that out. I'm not sure if I like the intrument cluster design. I think it looks too retro, personally. Just my opinion.
@Samthebam4044 correct me if i'm wrong but didn't you mean a land rover ? cause the discovery has that same shape and ugly back. still a great car tho, had the pleasure of driving one for about a month last year. loved every bit of it, except seeing my reflection when going past glass buildings.
and the navigator ... as i said, i actually like it. it's just the back of it that's bothering me. that ruins the whole exterior for me. and i was just expressing my opinion
@anandecy3035 Put it this way. Ford actually invested in a rear design, GM just slapped on a new front face and a dash panel using that generic steering wheel on the Escalade.
amazing vehicle
We could fit 8 passengers with tons of cargo space in our 68 Country Sedan. Over 4 decades how has this vehicle improved other then being a lot safer
My sister got this car for her 16th birthday last
Well, this Lincoln is actually quite gorgeous. I usually don't like them..even though my mom owns and older Navigator.
You should make a video on a '98 lincoln navigator
is this or a yukon xl Denali/escalade esv a better choice
@applesmnch2 yeah, I get keyless entry, this vehicle has it, not a big deal... Keyless entry is different than a push button start. How does reaching in your pocket for a key inconvenient? You do it with your phone, wallet etc...
Push button start is nothing more than "Hey look guys, I'm so cool, my car starts by pushing this button!!!" That's why they used to be only on performance cars Example, the 04 Dodge Ram SRT-10. Not for convenience.
The 2nd and 3rd gen Navigators are timeless beautiful suvs if you get a 2nd gen get a 2004-2006 if you get a 3rd gen get a 2010-2014.
can you do a test drive of this vehicle?
Yeah, but would you rather show off an XLT badge over a Limited badge?
Man that gauges looks like they came straight out the 80's. So weird.
how come car dont beep like a toyota when you unlocck them wit the remote
Its called Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People
Someone's stealing the road master 3:49
@consequence89 Nah its fine bud I know you were just statin your opinion. Personally I kinda like the big back windows myself, but I can sorta see where you mean about the back end, especially the taillights, it just doesn't fit the car that well, with those over stratched lights and big flat roof, I still like it mind.
you cant find suv's this big anywhere else but america.
R.I.P
Navigator L
2007-2017
What the hell is up with that second top comment?
It's not like Nissan has used the same um.. Pathfinder, Armada, Frontier, and Titan all these years.. since um.. the year 2004.
This thing is a good car.
this car is nice, but selling one without much depreciation is impossible. Thats why i would take the escalade over this; its more elegant, slightly better looking, and has a steady price
Damn thats big!
Really, IT's everyone copying everyone... Although One big reason I don't like GM is in their history they tried along with others to pass a law that would regulate quality on products to be horrible. The idea was if they make it to break easily, They could make more profit by selling replacements.
@MrImacarfan In my opinion, it really nice, whats more luxurious about a escalade compared to a navigator...I know it has more power and better fuel economy, anything else?
Thumbs up if you are like me and think the speedometer cluster makes the car AND you saw the 350z pull out about 3/4 the way through
@MrImacarfan this can tow more then a pilot, seat 7 more comfortable then a pilot, has a larger trunk with all 3 rows up then a pilot. This truck is not even in the same category as a pilot. If you want to compare the pilot, compare it to the new ford explorer which is better then a pilot IMO!
My mom has this car we all hate it we are getting a new car soon
can you do 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged ?
I have to disagree with the retro gauges. If I am getting a 2011 SUV I want one that looks like that. I do like the rest of the inside but the gauges are big turn off to me. That's just my opinion. I am sure others like it a lot. Thanks for posting!
Looks better than the newer ones that's for sure
Can you do a hackney carriage pls
Wow maybe it's just the sound of the video but when you got up to show the motor it sounded like a diesel fuel engine.
Love!
This is WAY better than an Escalade. GM sucks balls.
Lol escalade way better lincoln is a ford nasty lmao
FORD SUCKS BIG ASS BALLS gm is the best !!!!
Escalade is much better than this piece of shit?
Y'all are a bunch of crying GM Fanboys... GM Is garbage lmao.
Big balls
3:50 your roadmaster is runing away
All this and no DVD standard????
12:20 what is the song?
@fordryan0930 Now we're talking, add some light artillery and a rocket and we have a nice vehicle!
03-06 Yep they were
The American Range Rover Autobiography.
Pumped Up Kicks by Foster The People
lol at 5:10 the Navargator
This is the only modern car I've seen that doesnt have rounded doors, rounded hood, etc.
+David Robitaille (robitaill3) Actually a good point.
Unico?
EL MEJOR!!!
Those rear quarter windows make it look a bit too much like a hearse. That's the only thing I really find fault with.
@mitchman2100 Yea this generation has been out for a while...which is why it doesn't have that toy-like chime that they are using on their newer vehicles. haha. Oh and gotta love that BEAUTIFUL interior!!! :D
I WANT IT this is nice we might get on after our 2012 ford fusion sel or me might get a gmc acaida
+mazda tribute This might be a bit late but don't get a GMC... they're awful. GM is terrible man
That One Ford Guy you are biased.
Jayden Thompson ok then
Jayden Thompson Yes, I am. I have a reason to be as well.
I think i might get rid of my 2010 mkT for one. I need more room. Kids are growing
.....I like it haha
Navigator is way better than the Escalade.
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kyle!!!! thank you i suggested this video thanks so much for doing it
@jman66053 That is so true!! Those citys are in Texas. Ford, lincoln, Mercury rock!!!!
I like the old one better (2003-2006), it looks better, has the same power (300/365), has the same size engine, still has a 6 speed (2005+), has the power slide out boards instead of the fold down (so it looks like you still have them), has DOHC instead of SOHC (3V VCT's have a low end- top end transition lag, great for gas mileage and highway passing, but kinda sluggish in between). Not only that, but the new 5.0L DOHC that the F-150's have in 2011 is more powerful! (360/390) and probably gets better mileage. I think Ford's premium fullsize should have something alittle better than that, if not having the 5.0L standard than at least having the 400 hp 6.2L as an option. The 6.2L engine standard in the later model C6's and the new C7 debuted as the standard engine in the Escalade. The Navigator has had the same engine as the only one since it first came out! The first real change from it (the 3V) although is a much more sophisticated form, is still a step backward. The only difference that it really makes when all is said and done is fuel mileage.
it'd be nice if it had the new f150 engines
the gages and wood make the interior look so old
Kill the radio next time.....but it's a really nice suv
