    That bars final was fire. Her and Qiu both hitting their best routines and both being so happy for each other made it so amazing

    As an honorary Irishman I would pronounce her name in Éireann and it's "Cailín Ní Muir", by the way your analysis is well constructed with every detail and I'm a big fan of the Algerian superstar since her World Championship debut nearly a year ago.

    The amount of concentration required to get everything right is simply unfathomable. A 17 y/o girl...

    I would be interested in your take on the Kaylia's bar evolution video - very interesting as a coach, certainly wouldn't be winning the level 3 Olympics ;) Love the beach shovel analogy

    Definitely interested in your take on the Jordan situation. But also, I'd love to see a breakdown like this one of all the gold medal routines from the Olympics. But tbh, I'll watch whatever you decide to cover on your channel.

    I kept thinking Melanie amd Kalia on the same team? Wow, I think they would have felt less pressure and could have made it through to the finals!

    You actually were really close with the pronunciation of Qiu Qiyuan! And so happy for Kaylia, it was close between them two but Kaylia was better on the day!

    You pronounce the name of Kaylia Nemour, exactly how you said it at 0:14 😊 and not how you said at 0:16.
    Great explanation, by the way!!

    I will never understand how a human can do the stalder tkatchev half - which she has to catch in REVERSE GRIP - into a straddled back half and then somehow conserving momentum AND twisting the half quick enough to throw herself BACK UP to the high bar with a stalder shaposh half. Like that genuinely blows my mind. I don’t know what those 3 skills get her in connection value but it’s not enough lemme tell u that.

      I’m still on inbar full to inbar layout to pak to inbar saposh. Just half this routine seems impossible

    • @alexi8741
      @alexi8741 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@damienpatrickshane9056 it’s all very impressive but like,,, the physics of the first half of the routine actually seem doable to me. Like incredibly difficult don’t get me wrong, but still humanly possible. Like finish on top of the bar, catch the layout at the perfect distance, granted the pak, stalder shaposh doesn’t really sound possible to me either haha. But like, I literally do not understand how it’s physically/humanly possible to throw yourself back up to the high bar after immediately transitioning to the low bar out of the stalder tkatchev half/straddle back half… like literally how is she catching that straddle back half so high above the low bar and finishing the half twist early enough out of her reverse grip to then stalder shaposh back up to the high bar. Like that literally makes no sense to me like how she is not kipping after the straddle back half will forever be a mystery to me.

    • @damienpatrickshane9056
      @damienpatrickshane9056 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@alexi8741 really? She is the only person who has done the inbar layout, plus connecting it to a full inbar is crazy.
      I have never seen anyone do a park into an inbar saposh either. I think that her doing the stalder full after the komova 2 is what makes it more possible to do the stalder half to low to high.
      The pirouette probably gives her more momentum.
      She needs to be studied she’s insane for all the skills she has

    qiu qiyuan is pronounced as
    qiu = chew
    qi = chi (shang chi that chi)
    yuan = you and (combine the vowel of "you" and "and" together when you pronounce)
