I'm loving the marching experience from the new Orleans captain, she just danced with the band off a fire song. Makes me think of all new Orleans bands rocking in parades for Mardi Gras, handle that arielle ya heard me.
Im trying to figure our why so many ppl have so much negativity to say about the dolls. #1, you don’t have any 3 year vets on the squad. You don’t really get that doll style until your second full rip and certainly your 3rd rip. Lyndsay for whatever reason isn’t on this year’s squad. All of your returning 2nd year vets mind you hardly had a full crab year due to COVID so this is still their time to mesh and then of course you have all the crabs who are amazing on the field and still learning to mesh in the stands. You have 2 seniors and a slew of underclassman. They will get it. You need those 3rd years and second years who had a full crab year to really create the synergy of a legendary team. The dolls did not have a shortage of girls to audition. They did not pick these young ladies for the sake of having a team. Their technique is great on the field. Stands are completely different than field. They will find their center and will be the dolls we all know and love. And even if they mess up every game, at the end of the day they are young ladies in college just doing what they love. None of you all are paying their tuition. You’re just sitting home looking to be entertained. So just hush and enjoy the season. And this is coming from an avid doll fan, someone who has danced, who has marched in the band, AND have been a musician now for 25 years. #QualifiedToComment

So glad they brought the old cadences back. Southern is starting to have that old school southern feel again.I even see the Rock coming back.Those of us who actually marched in the band during a certain time know exactly what I'm talking about. Getting back to those old Doc days! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

What really grind my gears with some of these comments are:
* way too many men commenting on how the dolls “should” look.
* those who will NEVER be a doll nor have any real dance experience have way too much to say.
*forgetting that these are college students who’s first priority are their academic studies… I would go in but y’all will have something to say to combat that too.
Continue to study their dance moves and imagining yourself as a doll. They will do fine and those of you will be okay with whatever they give.
the ones commenting on the dolls will be eating them up by the time the bayou classic comes around. this will be a persevering group from the dolls to the drumline considering everything from the pandemic to the recent hurricane

Never Satisfied YESSSS‼️This was one of my favorite songs that SU did the first time I heard them play this was I think 1992 at the Bayou Classic I was a senior in HS that’s when they used to do what I called the Southern circle ⭕️ when they would all huddle up row by row in a circle in the middle of the field and I distinctly remember them coming out of the circle playing this song. It was 🔥back then and it’s still 🔥now💯💯💛💙💛💙💛💙

Question: why are all the negative comments coming from men or male presenting fonts? Dolls literally did two stands but presented an amazing field show and walk out but you are majoring in the minor. Even with the hiccups they presented well! Please go either start a team, audition for a community team or something else other than blow hot musty bitterness everywhere.

Dame, before you try and critique my comment for the obvious reasons, how about you use that energy at a LA fitness, fitness connection, or planet fitness. Judging off your AVI photo, your energy is directed more towards to hamburger patties rather than a healthy lifestyle. Get that in order first before responding to my comment. Have a lovely week.
@Rick Warren what was passive aggressive in my comments? Saying that they need practice? A person with two eyes can see that they are no sharp in their arm movements and have memory loss when it comes to stands. Nothing I said was mean. I praised the dolls. So I’m not understanding your comment.
@Rick Warren here’s another thought.. I live in New Orleans (westwego to be exact). Im also a professional dancer and choreographer… a hurricane doesn’t affect your memory. Especially when you’ve been rehearsing for months.

The Juke sounds amazing per usual but The Dolls… need work‼️ Stands were a complete mess. Captain not giving me Captain vibes. She just up there throwing counts. The formation is off. Not the quality of dolls I’m use too. No 🧢! Idk man, change the formation, change the Captain, & definitely practice more. This ain’t it! CAM LOOKS GREAT THOUGH! MAYBE BRING THE VETS BACK. 😩🤦🏽♂️🙄
