- A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit the US and attend ROSCon '23. While I was there I spoke to so many people about how they are involved in the robotics community, and a few of them were willing to share their thoughts for the camera.

Was great meeting up with you! What a great couple of days that was. I highly recommend anyone who couldn’t attend to at least go through the slides and watch the videos of the sessions once they are posted. So much interesting stuff was presented and so many new things have been released with Iron and are coming with Jazzy and K-turtle…
I walked away with a list of things I need to read up on and learn more about. I also stayed for the px4devcon that weekend and saw even more. That community is heavily moving towards ROS to provide the higher level autonomy/AI tools on top of their real-time flight controller, and they have some exciting marriages of the two happening.
Thanks Mike!
I am happy seeing an indian guy in the video :)
I am sad seeing that indian guy representing a german company when there are so many opportunities in India and also as India rising so much in the field of ROS
awesome to hear from famous people in ROS community. Thanks for preparing this video
Thank you so much for the interviews! It was really nice to hear some words from the leading ROS developers. As a Master student in AI and working with robotics on a daily basis I loved hearing that they are moving AI and Robotics closer to each other using ROS.
It is good to see the atmosphere of ROSCon '23. Hope to go to the next one!
cool to see this, I wish to meet all these people in Europe may be next year.:). also you do great stuff..:)
Lovely video! ROSCon is indeed an amazing place to meet some smart interesting people! I hope youll be there at Odense next year, it would be great to meet you there 😊
Yes it would be great to catch up - unfortunately it's not looking likely at this stage :( but we'll see
Eagerly waiting for microros tutorial
Great video thx - you got a new subscriber
Loving your work!
Keep up the great work -> we ❤ u 😉
amazing video
I live in New Orleans, but I forgot this was coming! Hope you had a great time.
Ps I am a nobody, starting from scratch, building a small tool type of bot that I hope to have at the convention eventually. I have 2 years of learning/panning invested into it so far, but still a ways to go. Thank you for your videos.
I have really gotten into ROS this year. If it’s possible, I would love the opportunity to work with you. Your project is great, but one thing I noticed is there is A LOT of problems just getting a system installed and hardware connected. Example: ROS2 Iron with an AGV using XV-11 LiDAR. It’s seemingly impossible to get it to work. I’d love to make some videos with you troubleshooting the initial stages of development.
I want to see where ROS can go with LLMs. DL is/was like teaching a robot what a blank objects is. LLMs into ROS could give the robot more knowledge of what exactly the object is that it is working with. Or as I put it, LLMs just could give a robot brains.
Where is it taking place?
Ive never been able to get into ros
