Everybody has an opinion. I know someone who migrated to Australia with his family at 48 years. Don't just put out such blanket statements. Clarify them to state that it is those who entered illegally that face such issues. I personally left at 45 years through a legal pathway. Best decision of my life. I was mature and had proper information and life experiences, so my move was made from a position of strength and proper information.
I don't think you watched the same video that i watched, or you were not listening attentively. Maybe you didn't hear the caveat, when he talked about the lucky ones! Do not mistake the exception for the rule. Take it or leave it!!
@peterreal4900 There is nothing like luck. I live my life with God's favour and direction. Once I got the spiritual signal to make the move, I did it and it clicked. Even my brother got a work visa from a cold call from a recruiter on LinkedIn. Those who live their lives in God and sold out to God will be set apart for uncommon breakthroughs.
I agree with. I don't see any problem if God allows me to go. He is just a prohibited immigrant. Age doesn't matter. What matters is the relationship one has with God.
I think the man is speaking from the perspective of most people travelling on visiting visa hoping to get themselves regularize for residency, if that's the case he is absolutely correct. If you do that at such age with family you are in for a great gamble. However if you travel on work visa with a reputable organization age is totally irrelevant as you will enjoy all privileges associated to your work conditions. On the extreme end if you're living a totally miserable life and any opportunity present itself for you to travel i think there is no risk anymore after all you were already down and can not be worse than that but still not when you're above 50.
Age is just a number life begins at 40 if you travel abroad legally why will you be looking for papers ,document or resident permit as you said travel right you can travel at 50 years migration is part of life God is in support of imigration you went abroad to chop adoro things can go south maybe but if you go legally all will be well within a short period of time regardless of your age
I'd is spot on but the only thing missing is that if you have the opportunity to travel abroad with your family I will encourage anyone to take the opportunity
Thank you for the honest general statement, when you are over 40 and you travel and make it,we thank God but what you say let it serve as a guide and let it serve as a caution to Africans. The truth must be told🎉🎉🎉
My bro, that is your opinion...viewers if you have the opportunity to travelled out , just go....don't let anybody to tell you what not or what to do...period.
The wise should listen to him. If you travel on a visiting visa ,getting a job to do is very very difficult. Impossible in some countries. If you are lucky, it will take you closer to 5 yrs or more to regularize your stay. Then after that, you will face what is known as AGEISM. Most AFRICANS DONT KNOW this. After the age 45 yrs upwards , it is difficult for you to get an employment unless you are an expert in a particular area or yiu you are already working with some years of experience . Employers do favor employing younger . AGEISM is basically discrimination against the old. This is REAL. The only job you might get is physically demanding jobs and at some age. you can do such jobs efficiently as a much younger person will do it.
Good morning Rooddy, please stop discouraging people as everyone is not the same. Some people have their own problems. You can't be comparing early 90s to 2024. Things have changed dramatically. Life is much easier now compare to early 90s. I move to London since 2005 and glory be to God I ran away from hell 🔥 Nigeria 🇳🇬.
My brother is 70 years ago. He is begging me to sponsor him abroad. He wants to come and stay. I wrote him more than 20 times that I was financially and health-wise no more qualified to invite any person like I did many times before. He rejected every reason that I gave to him, and insisted that I should invite him. He thinks that I am telling him lies. That is very infuriating, especially that as things were still o.k., I gave opportunities to two members of his family to come to me abroad.
@@oedeko3020 They think as you are living abroad, you own the Country. As such can command all the embassies in Africa to issue them visa.I am facing the same situation too.
I think it depends on the immigration routes you decide. If you are going abroad at the your 40s with a visiting visa with the aim of settling down, SORRY is your case
Why are you guys discouraging people?your destiny is not somebody’s destiny if you have yours just shut up and move on because someone can get to Europe and make it it doesn’t matter how old you are people are living in the western world over (60yrs) and their life is more better than living back home
What's this guy talking about, feel free to live your life plan it the best you can hope for the best prepare for the worst. This guy is bitter the story is about himself just because he never made it does not mean you won't. This guy has a negative attitude base on his own experience Bless
Dont speak for everyone /generalised .NB:You can come to abroad any age from age baby to 55years.but the advantage is ,if u have a close relation to stay with and they quickly arrange, how you can be working to support the household and also looking out for you ,how to get your residency paper(Diaspora is for people to come and workhard and send the money back to Africa to get yourself *A good house/home and look for bussiness or passion to be doing ..(from age 55 start preparing yourself..😅😅😅..and some of us prefer to stay in Diaspora to enjoy our pension life😊,Goodluck to every one
I do not think that the statement is outrightly correct in its own space. He can't use other people's experience as vital as it is to determine ur goal. Pursue ur goal with a passion and determination that it will work and must work. Erase negativity. Pple are still traveling oversea now for greener pasture beyond the age of 40yrs and making it real tym. Yes as long as it is a legal route. Age is just a number. Dont let ur age deprive you of your achievement. The grace of God is still very much available to catch up. So, build up your internal muscle in God alone and move! Move if nid be
Yes, if you have 200k in pounds or dollars to invest. If you are 30 yrs and planning to japa , you will suffer , yes there are exceptions but that is one in every 10,000. I am sure plenty of suffering Africans will disagree, please buy your flight ticket and get your visa and come . Nobody is stopping you.
Nonsense, stop generalising. Everyone circumstances are completely different. I and a friend of my moved to Canada at 50, got a good job by God Grace, bought a house and doing well by his Grace. Yes, I encountered challenges, but it's better than staying back in Nigeria. Different strokes, for different folks. Anybody who is analytical and God being by their side can take the plunge. God bless
This social media money just dey make everyone dey stupid.
You can not generalise , everyone journey is different. My uncle travelled at the age of 45, and he is doing great.
Something will kill a mam at any age. Migrate, if you have to, but do it legitimately. Do not let somebody else's negative experience stop you.

Guy! You're lucky, period! You're not the only individual who migrated legally.
@soccerhub2543. Please watch the video again and amend your comments.

😂 story story 😂😂😂, what doesn't work for you will definitely work for someone else 😂😂
He is speaking the TRUTH. FACTS.
What are you doing there,, come back to Nigeria
Stat home and FIX your country. Lazy man.
If u fail no mean say others go fail. Mind you not everyone has a goal
Rubbish Talk. What if youre above 40 and migrated legally?
I'd is spot on but the only thing missing is that if you have the opportunity to travel abroad with your family I will encourage anyone to take the opportunity
Every one has his grace or different graces pls .
This is a very touching word of advice.
Thanks.
He is right, but my opinion is that everyone’s story is different

Ages of 40 and above with family at home while living in diaspora is lonely and regretful

Truth but it's up to each INDIVIDUAL.
What about the strength and the ability to get up and work everyday for long hours which they are not accustomed to in Africa.

Stay back in Africa.
I will continue to invest here and I will continue to make it here. There's nothing for me abroad. Modern slavery is real.
Words of wisdom, Ty Sir.

What if you are 39yrs pr 40yrs old?
Or relocating with the whole family?
Please don't take his advice as he has no valid points on migration
Also it depends on the country...?

Powerful message. Keep on dropping the real life content @Uncle Roddy

You don't even have good reasons 😕. Please don't listen to this advice as it's not the best. Don't discouraged people please. Thanks
If don't get residence permit you have a choice to go back
Your arguments are short and I've seen many people succeed whatever their age.
The many you saw succeed is nothing compared to the many that failed. Do not mistake exceptions for the rule. Period!
Not necessarily true!! Different strokes for different folk...
