I have been doing this prior to running on the treadmill and I barely feel my Achilles pain (it is barely there). This has worked better than all the stretching I have been doing. This is worth trying, I felt results in a few weeks. I encourage anyone who can’t run anymore due to Achilles pain to try this.
Check your posture. If your hamstrings/ calves are always tight, it's likely due to them always being stretched to their limit by how you stand. Play around with how you balance your weight, torso/ pelvis, and chances are you'll find relief when you bring your shoulders back and your hips forward.
As someone who has been doing calf raise isos, and negatives, and all that normal stuff for months now without seeing any progress, this video comes in at a good time! just wondering though, most advice says to not stretch too much with insertional tendinopathy (which is what I have). Are these drills prone to cause issues in that case, or are they fairly safe to do?
I have extremely high arches that have gotten worse over time. Having a really hard time having my arches “relax” But I do have the issue you describe in my left foot/leg currently. I thought I injured it and it would go away. 3 months later, it’s still here.
Do you think that these exercises work also for insertional achilles ? according to many when you have insertional you should not go more down than the floor
Oh wow Interesting. I have EDS I had partial knee replacement surgery in my teens 2 weeks later I somehow snapped my Achilles heel. I had the surgery 15 months ago but I was struggling to put my heal to the floor and now it’s fused again 😢 my physio said I need surgery to put it right but my foot has started to rotates inwards sometimes I trip over it.
I love you. Keep doing the work that these great doctors should do
Conor you are quite literally the goat

Can you make a video on tibialis posterior tendinitis. And associated flat foot?
Thank you for these exercises, they are very helpful. Can I do them couple of times a day or just once?
Many thanks.
High hamstring tendinopathy video please Conor 🙏

I'm 2 years post surgical repair of my Achilles, do you recommend these same movements for strengthening it?

Hi Conor, can you also use just a wedge to elevate the toes as a replacement for the toe pro? Looks like doing the same.
How many times per week, doing this exercises?
What about Achilles bursitis?
