The Flaps on a twin Cessna are mostly drag with a little lift. Those big ole piston engines are subject to cracking a cylinder if they are cooled to fast so on my 402 we would use all of the drag, lights, gear and flaps extended to slow us down and descend while keeping the power up to prevent shock cooling.

For some reason i enjoy them more. Once my pay aircraft work i will fly some cool ones.
