the meaning from the lyrics I read were what a husband views his wife of, as to cook, clean, make him food, and then have $ex. instead of someone he actually loves and cares for. I love how they can still have bold meanings whilst making a comedic m/v
This is really not bold, it's the same message that's being passed as edgy and trangressive for the best 50 years by every gigantic corporation in th3 entertainement industry. At this point something that would actually be transgressive is a song about a happy and functional marriage.

It's quirky kpop sure but it's got a strong message too....even the color scheme and the "audio snippet" video we saw before the drop matter. The colors of the tracklist are red/black but if you invert those colors, you get the teal/white colors from the vid. That already shows that they are against this traditional wife idea that more men are calling for. There's more but yea...genius level stuff goin here!

Huge fan of gidle here, saw in Chicago and it was AMAZING. I’ll say I didn’t like their English ep on the whole (not a whole lot of originality), but I guess it was a collab. I miss Oh My God and Lion and Put it Straight Nightmare Version and Nxde masterpieces, and I hope they have some on this album, and there’s only a few pieces of fluff like this. Queencard was a fun fluff song, for example. On social media it looks like there will be another masterpiece coming judging from the black outfits and sand and their positions - I’m excited for that.
like soyeon is great but i NEEEED her to get Minnie to join her in the writting and production part to help her with the English lyrics cus it is not... its not bad but I cannot listen to her songs queencard, tomboy, and now wife because of this, yeah I hope their new release is different.
