Tommy had a band called REINXEED which he wrote this song 20 years ago as 14-15 years old now that band called MAJESTICA, Tommy play all the instruments in his covers, he is a musical genius who plays like 10 instruments, just pick a song that you like and I promise thats a killer, but one very good song from Majestica is Above the sky.

Don't worry, Tommy is still in Sabaton. And in Majestica. But being a member of two bands is not enough for a man who lives for music!

Great reaction, Tommy is extremely gifted not only as a singer and a musician, but also as a songwriter. Try his band Majestica, their song Above The Sky is really amazing. Edit: Tommy was a frontman in his own band long before he became the guitarist for Sabaton. He started ReinXeed (old name of Majestica) when he was 14. That's where Sabaton noticed him and asked him to come to Sabaton in 2012 when first Sabaton lineup fell apart (only singer and bassist remained). He declined, because he wanted to focus on ReinXeed at the time, so Thobbe Englund became guitarist instead. When Thobbe left in 2016, they asked Tommy again and this time he accepted. So you see, Sabaton is very aware of his talent and obviously REALLY wanted him, since they asked him twice 😁

Original: Tommy lives and breath music .. he always seems to do something with music ..it’s just the form that changes… reinxeed/Majestica( a total of 8 albums so far) is his baby ( he started the band at age 15) he said in interview that Sabaton is the priority but Majestica is his .. he can quit Sabaton but Majestica will always be with him. He has also been in Symphony of tragedy, golden resurrection, been the singer of memories of old, been the drummer of the lost rockers and Charlie shred. He has released two cover albums “Swedish hits goes metal” and has numerous collabs and guest appearances with other bands ( both vocals and guitar) .. the YT channel started as a hobby but it has really taken off.. Tommy has said that it is something he does for fun and that he will cover the songs he likes .. this is what he would do anyways for relaxation why not share it 😀
I’m probably the only one .. but I think of him as the “Peter pan of metal” 🔥
I think the YT channel provides a much needed creative outlet (he gets to try all and everything he feels interesting without being confined to a specific style and genre) in a form where he is not dependent on others ( which must be nice considering his other engagements) .. and the rest of us is blessed for it. I do think Tommy has reached an audience with his covers that he would not have in his chosen field of power metal. And by now I’ve started to think that any genre that Tommy’s doesn’t cover is missing out 😝
Fun fact: Tommy did the music (he is credited in description) for Floor Jansens covers of: Agape, frozen 2 and oblivion .. it’s handy to be able to play all the instruments and produce your own music from your apartment during a pandemic 😝)

@@tazzznphilly It actually was! There was an Irish folk hero named Finn McCool, that's where I found it, originally spelled a little different but you can find it under either spelling...Also, yes Tommy is a great human being besides being an extremely talented overachiever!❤
