Lurloc so from watching a few videos of these boats, they look like they get on plane fast! I'm impressed, do you like the ride and how the trolling motor handles that model?
Seen one of these at Collinsville Illinois boat show. Told buddy I was going to get one. 10 months later I ordered one. Met Keith and toured factory. They are all that and then some.
But how much does it weigh? Does it beat you to a pulp like the pro boats I've been in here on Toledo Bend? These fiberglass $75-100,000 boats I've been in since last week have worn me out! Bang, whang, beat, slam, I'm tired of that mess. I've always like aluminum boats better than fiberglass. Maybe because I was raised fishing in aluminum boats. Just seem more real or something. Since I don't fish to make a living, I don't like speed. I understand pros need it.
I'd like to see them make improvements to existing models while introducing new models over the span of year 2 to thru year 5. Year 1 is just not enuff to go on while I do think the AVX Models have Tremendous Potential.
They're beautiful boats for aluminum. That said, the layout looks alot like the glass Rangers that inspired it... what about the deck design is revolutionary or new?
Where do you put your tackle boxes? From the video it looks like you have a lot of room for rods but not for tackle. Does it have a place to stow a net? Do the boxes come with air circulators to prevent mildew, etc? What is standard and what is an upgrade?
Bruce.......You see those HUGE storage boxes in the rear that are 3 TIMES the size of anything else available? THAT is where the bulk of your tackle goes. Then ya take what few boxes & bags ya need for the day & place them in that front box. Face it, bass anglers don't need "everything they own" right under their feet up front. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Throughout recent years in the big time tournaments, a few anglers walked away from the rest of the field during long runs on large reservoirs or river systems to get to the productive areas sooner, and were able to fish LONGER by having the ability to also run faster back to weigh in. What is their "secret" for the added speed? SIMPLE, unlike everyone else, they wisely figured out they could make their boats perform better by placing the bulk of their weight back in THE REAR of the boat. And as for your other questions, I'm sure they can add all the options your wallet desires. I just got through researching these boats, they really are built great & perform so as well.

At least 3 different pro anglers who everyone...( including the other pro's ) were envious of them & wondering "how in the world were they getting that extra speed" when making those long runs on the larger reservoirs........finally made videos showing what "their secret" was for added speed. And every one of them were placing the bulk of their weight IN THE REAR OF THE BOAT. I can't recall their names at this very moment, but it seems like one of them was Aaron Martins. OF COURSE YA WANT YOUR TACKLE IN THE FRONT. But that doesn't mean you need "ALL" of your tackle up front. Especially in tournament fishing, you practice ( or at least you should ) during pre-fishing the tournament to not only find the fish, but to develop a few patterns......and then you rig your rods & tackle & use THOSE for that particular tournament OR for that day of fishing.........not "your whole damned arsenal". Young man, I've been bass fishing hard since 1969, and I fish now more than ever. You're not going to tell me anything, I can assure you of that. YOU WANT A SLOWER BOAT.........THEN INSIST ON KEEPING EVERYTHING UP FRONT.......end of story. Besides, most anglers, including myself, buy far too much in the way of lures anyway......so much you'll NEVER use even half of that stuff. I know.........been there, done that. I cut way down on the sheer amount of tackle I owned, and was buying. Got rid of 2/3rds of that stuff.....and I've STILL got more than enough tackle for ANY fishing situation. He gained like 4 mph by doing this. Gets the nose up ever so slightly no plowing, or nose slap from boat
It doesn't seen like Keith is plowing thru the water at high speeds like other videos show on the AVX models. I won't like trim limiters that won't allow the operator to trim up where the spray is on the pad. Everything else is great.
If I heard correctly they only come with a 2 year warranty. If that is the case Vexus needs to do one of two things. Offer an warranty that covers a $40,000 investment or two go bake to the drawing board and make a better product that they have no issue putting a warranty on that maches competators.
It’s a two year non structural warranty and only 5 for structural. Hell outboards have longer warranties than that. Been on them and they feel like a great boat but for only 5 years I personally will take a pass.
First of all the word you where looking for was Personally. Second you're the dumbass I you think any dealer is going to put a long term warranty on a boat that they cant get money back from the manufacture. Not how things work. Own a few boats and deal with warranty work before you start calling people names with being ignorant on the subject.

Cutting corners by not putting shocks on all the lids and the price is still high. Taking a page out of Nitro's book. For that price should have hot foot, lid shocks, tilt steering. I could not tell if it had compartment lights but I am betting that is an additional option also. Sure hope the fiberglass model doesn't Nitro it up.
Nice boat. I think the layout might be a little bit unbalanced. Noticed most tackle storage was on the driver's side. Rods are light , tackle is not. Would like to have most of the weight centered. I realize that rods are long but with tackle and driver both on the right side I think it might be unbalanced. That being said I'm saying that from watching a video , could be way wrong. Guess I will just have to go for a ride someday.

Keep saying it feels like a fiberglass boat. So what is the advantage of an aluminum bass boat? If you’re trying to compare it or make it be like if I were a glass boat,why not just make a fiberglass boat? I would understand it if the aluminum give some kind of advantage over the fiberglass boat but it doesn’t.
I actually just saw one of these , 2019 with 150hp. 36k. With is more then most glass boats in that hp range. I get the weight and buoyancy advantage though.

To add more in what has been said: you don’t have to regel the boat. You can get into the nasty structure where the big bass are without the fear of getting serious damage like a glass boater would have. Better gas mileage too ⛽️

axsb I live next to flippin and all I can say is, go take a tour of their factory and the other leading brands that are in the same town. You’ll walk away with the conclusion that the Vexus is the only aluminum boat that does it the right way. Not to mention I own the other top brand aluminum boat and can’t get rid of it!
Ok I watched this video on the aluminum boat and the one of the fiberglass one and neither boat has enough tackle storage for the way I like to fish. Neither if these boats appeal to me at all. In the video on the fiberglass one the guy said he only fishes with two rods all day and they say "how much tackle do you really need".. Well that depends on how you like to fish and if you fish multiple lakes that require the use of different techniques. If you only use two rods and fish one lake, I agree you don't need much tackle. What if you like throwing crank baits? Many of us carry a variety of them in Plano 3700 size boxes, where are you going to put them along with your other tackle??? Why do you need rod lockers that hold over 25 rod and reels but a very small space for tackle.

Well, my Tracker is wider at the bow, I don't have to remove my hat when running, I don't get all the back splash when I stop, my gunnel is lower to the water and it's half the price. Hmmm, I think i'll stick with Tracker Boats.
If I'm not mistaken......your Tracker's deck is chock full of plywood. If you REALLY fish & run your boat often.....just wait & see what you'll HAVE to be doing with that Tracker in 10 yrs OR LESS. Stress cracks, oil canning, separations, etc. Your Tracker is no different than all the other Tracker's I've seen, and I've got several friends who have owned them RECENTLY.......including a good friend who owns one right now. Hey, I'm not knocking your boat for the price, but you get what you pay for, and all the GRIEF that WILL come with it down the road, IF YOU KEEP IT. The boat in this video is built like a precision & performance "battleship" compared to your Tracker. Look at more videos about these boats, and you'll see what I mean. So please........there's nothing wrong with loving your Tracker, it allows you to get on the water & fish at a low price........but don't even attempt to compare it to THIS BOAT, not even for the price difference. everything he says is different is really not, foam filled, running pad.. every alumin manufacture has these features.

Your Tracker is built nowhere CLOSE to the quality, both for performance and durability. Hey, YOU are the one that put your Tracker on a pedestal ABOVE this boat, when even on a dollar for dollar basis, this boat is STILL the wiser choice. Hell, I even tried to tell you there's nothing wrong with loving your Tracker, FOR WHAT IT IS.........but don't go trying to push your delusions on everyone else. Let's see "how great" you think it is several years from now......that is, if you even use it very often, or still own it by then.
