Aw very tough to go thru' Geoff I'm sure, but you gave Bramble and Susan great lives and I'm soo glad Tracey is taking on her auntie duties so well! And the piglet births was quite something! Take care x
Hey Geoff. We are sorry for your losses, Susan was an icon for ue (we have a few 'pensioner' sheep and an elderly cow) We can take comfort in the birth of the piglets. Well done Geoff. Jacob and Johnny.
So sorry for your losses very sad. They had a lovely life with you. Piglet birth was fantastic to see. They’re too cute! Lovely to see the owl very beautiful.
@@BrimwoodFarm , I'm going to be harsh, so don't read further, if you wish.... 2 or 3 goats are great when starting a farm, as they will clear your land of plants other animals won't eat (that's a pro), but the con about goats is that they eat everything else that other animals won't eat and they're always trying to get to the other side of the fence. At this point, aren't these goats more pets than producers? In my opinion, pigs do a better job clearing land than goats because when pigs are done, your ready to plant a new. You don't get that with goats. Pigs are expensive to raise, but there's always a market for them. And with all these sows, you're going to have your hands full with all the piglets. With sheep, pigs, market garden, dogs, cats and the pheasant & other birds, you don't need another goat! 💕🌞🌵😷
@suzisaintjames its not harsh ... its the truth! And I know it but I teeter on the edge of wanting a goat for goats milk. BUT I've realised, instead of buying a doe from my friend I can just buy milk instead (she has loads of milking goats). A much more sensible option!
Hey! They're doing great - not affected by the heat really which is good. Pond, sadly, is getting very low again! We need more rain (never thought I'd be saying that after the winter we had!)
@@BrimwoodFarm Glad to hear they are ok. Are they ok to be out? Is bird flu still about? It's been so humid this year, the garden feels very dry despite the wet weather. It just feels like it is evaporating or being blown away. has it been windy where you are? Hope you have been ok too. It's been a rough old year for you!
Very sad about Humbug, Susan and Margaret 😢 but they absolutely had their best lives ❤. Somehow I’ve missed introductions to Daisy, Violet and Rose, looking forwards to all those tiny trotters making appearances!
He has always been greedy ... an escape artist so he could go eat things he shouldn't. It was last year's cut so shouldn't have been too rich but 🤷🏼♂️

I love farrowing - so interesting to watch!
Sending lots of love 💕 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷
Thank you! I'm okay. The farm's okay. I should stop naming animals!
@@BrimwoodFarm , as a farm you have designate animals. Even if you called her 52, she'd still be your favorite.
(You don't need any more goats!) 💕🌞🌵😷
@suzisaintjames that's very true! My friend had number 39 ... still a fav! 😅 and thank you for keeping me on the right goat path!

Sorry to hear about your losses Geoff. Glad elsewhere things are going well. Take care. Mags.
@mygardenanddinosaurs thanks! Part of farming ... was sad to have them go all at once though. Aside from that, however, things are pretty bright 🌞
I'm sorry to hear the news, but you have done your absolute best. Piggies are gorgeous, Luv from UK 🇬🇧
@@jackiec9062 thanks Jackie. The piglets make up for it!
awww hun that blows. You have so much going on which in a way is a good thing so you can't sit around thinking too hard xox
Sorry to hear of your losses. How are the chickens doing? Has the pond filled up again now? Hope you are keeping cool in the heat! Take care. x

Thank you. And yes - they did have a pretty good life with lots of love!
Sorry to hear your bad news but as you said, it's the circle of life. Congrats on the arrival of the pigs. 12! Well done Hyacinth!
She did SO well. Such a good mum!
Was the hay this seasons? If so, the hay may have been to fresh and new. Just a thought. Sorry for your loss. Some goats are just super greedy 😢
