    Hi Kerri I love you circle to square tutorial. You teach it so well, very easy to understand. I also like your calming voice. I stress when trying something new, but I didn't with this tutorial. I'm on my second granny square as of now and will continue until I use up both of my colors. I may make a scarf, top with them, who knows. Thank you!

    This is the first time I have made a circle to square and I just loved it. I thought it would be very difficult but you made it easy. Thank you! ❤

    Thank you so much for this video! I hadn't crocheted in 40 years, and kept struggling to follow patterns and videos. Now I've found you and I'm going to make this for my very first little grandchild, a girl. You're amazing.

    Very helpful video - thank you. By the way , 8 ply yarn is DK in both the UK and US. Worsted weight is thicker and called Aran in the UK and also 10 ply in Australia.

      @@KerrisCrochet I want to continue my square without ending please do tell how I do this. Thank you

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just continue as last row but you will have 2 extra stitches on each side of every row. You could make it as big as you want.

    Thanks for sharing. Question..... What does the finished square measure. I need mint to be 6 inches.

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine are 4 1/2 inches wide. I have tight tension but you may need to add an extra row to the edge. Different yarns would also make it a different size.

    I'm making an afghan using this pattern. The squares will be on point , but I would like straight edges. This will require several half granny squares, and I am having a difficult time making them. Do you have a pattern for this half granny square

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t have a half granny square but could look at making one in the next few days. You will want them halved across the corners?

  • @joanpotter1438

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Joan. I got them online in packs, but since Covid it's been quite difficult. I got them from the website Peggybuys, and they're also sometimes on Amazon.

    • @KerrisCrochet
      @KerrisCrochet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s difficult to say what’s wrong without seeing it. Make sure you pull the magic circle really tight or if using chain for the centre work them tight. Is the centre circle staying flat?
