Well done video and pretty informative for me. I took notes on some important poins that you had mentioned like the time you started and the time you packed up and head home. These gave me the idea of the timing. And the most fantastic thing was there was a shooting star across the night sky, that is why you are lucky. Great job bro!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for joining me on the adventure! 😊 😊 (Regarding the shooting star, unfortunately I don't think it was one, I think it was just a plane flying across. Might have looked like a shooting star due that segment of video being a time-lapse shot.) 😊 😊
U where trying to cut through to the said camp area, some have moved away and npark closed many paths. The tent looks spacious.Looks like i should use a tarp too when i camp there.
Yeah, the path I was on was indeed blocked, but as to why, I am not sure. I am guessing it is to reduce the possibility of accidents as there were abandoned equipment, as well as those unmaintained abandoned buildings. But it was a nice spot to explore!
@@limchoonteck1 I'm definitely supportive of (rewinding projects)! Hopefully they'll keep some of the structures as a part of conservation for the future (like those aslt Thomson Nature Park).
Hi mate. Been watching your vids for quite some time now & found it interesting & informative. Of all the vids I find this island camping very captivating although I do feel that you've missed the chance of more narration from the begining of your trip towards the end, still it was a great vid. Cheers for sharing, hope to see more in the future. Stay safe mate. Greetings from Australia.
Hello UNFI! Thanks so much for your kind words and for joining me on my adventure! Will take your comment into consideration too, just need to find a good balance, as I've been told (on some earlier adventures) that I talked way too much! LOL~ 😅
Nice video bro, how's the toilet situation there. Are they open? I think there's one up the slope or something but the last time I saw it was closed. hmmm.
Wow this is sooooo amazing! after watching ur video I went to book my permit at end AUG at mamam site hahaha. I'm thinking of bringing my portable stove too, but unsure if we are really allowed to start a fire for cooking? TBH I'm not so experienced camping in or ard Singapore cuz there seem to be quite a bit of rules
😊 😊 Thank you for your kind words! There are two main routes up to the Mamam Campsite, the easier route will be the slightly longer route (proper paved road, approx 2.7km). Bringing the portable stove might be fun, but will naturally require a little more effort (weight). And yes, a campfire is permitted. There are 2x campfire sites at this campsite (square site surrounded by 4 large logs). You can't miss it when you've arrived. 😀 😀
Thank you for joining me on the journey! Hope you have an awesome adventure on your upcoming trip(s)! 🙂 🙂 I think the three campsites on Ubin are very different and offer three very different experiences. Mamam was great (for me on this trip) because there was no one else there, and was really peaceful. Jelutong Campsite on the other hand, is much more accessible and offers nearby amenities (restaurants, convince store, etc...) 🙂 🙂
Your style of filming is simple, educating, nature loving. I am taking up my new adventure after 30 years. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your comment! 🙂 Hope you have great adventures ahead! 🙂
I love cat's , nature and a purple tent .
✌🏻 ✌🏻 Thank you for joining me on the journey! 🙂 🙂
Nice vlog bro senang bisa jumpa dengan hobi yang sama
Enjoy Journey, wonderfull view and experience...hi from Indonesia 🤗
This is amazing!!! I always wanted to camp alone...lack of courage!!
We love this video. Be careful when treading on those slippery grounds.👋
🙂 🙂 Thank you so much!

Learned a lot about higher end camping gears. Just came back from camping at Pulau Ubin n realised how bad my set up was. Barely clocked 4hrs of rest
Awesome spot & your videos are splendid. “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better”
Thank you! 🙂 🙂 Love your quote too! ✌🏻 ✌🏻

@@Hong.Wanderlust It use to be the “ Ubin Zoo” and a drinks point. Npark want to “ rewild” the area and many parts of ubin.
