I've also dealt with that inner dilemma of "Should I give advice?" because the ICF is very strict in the UCM. But at the same time, I think what makes a good coach, or in this scenario, agile coach is the fact to be able to use any tool you have to serve the client. That's the main goal. And if that means giving advice when asked or needed, then you can.
