    Something about this one that I really like. Looks great, well thought out, and a great American company behind it. I've held one and it's very ergonomic. Not much to dislike about this new gun from Mossberg. Kudos to the company and thanks for the review.

    That satin finish is bananas. No jaggies to hinder draw. A real eye catcher. Hopefully Remington will reinvent it's line with Mossberg as a model.

    I like the double stack big brother , Nice offering from Mossberg as their first handgun . Sig #8 Tritium pro fits perfectly in the dovetails front and rear. Innovative take down .

    I have a P95. Ive put well over 5000 rounds through it. No issues. This weapon would be a great backup and sister weapon for me. If big brother says go. I go.

    It's "clunky" like most plastic pistols! I helped my M&P's by installing tactical triggers in them.

    I gots to get me one of these. Even if it's just a nice backup. When I held this is the store, if was bigger than I expected, and I do with it had Lollipop or two dot line sights. (I EDC a Kahr CM9, going into its 7th year... so I keep shopping for a replacement, for 2 years now....) My first firearm was a Mossberg. It remains in defensive rotation 30 years and well over 10k rounds later with never a single part replacement yet... so I am going to throw some cash at Mossberg for this, either MC1 or the new MC2. As big as the MC1 is, I might just go MC2, and replace carry with a 365 or Hellcat or something....

    Solved fail to battery issues with mine by using G43 guide rod and recoil spring. Love slide serrations, however they do collect a lot of DNA. Got my trigger weight down to 4.10 on Lyman gauge after polishing and 400 rounds. Tru glo TFX Pro #8 sights for Sig also big improvement.

    • @mattfranks4086

      I had the same issue and likewise swapped out for the G43 spring. Still have the same issue. polished the blue off off all of the rails and feed ramp, Reset the trigger assembly and thought I had it whipped because it seemed to function perfectly at the range. The other day I loaded it up, hit the slide release and it stopped just out of battery. I don't trust it. Have a brand new S$W Shield Plus in the mail right now. I know they work.

    I have two MC1sc standard pistols. Neither will drop the slide with the slide lock with an empty mag. Both have been sent back to Mossberg for repairs for failure to return to full battery. I'd have to nudge the slide forward 1/8"-1/4" on about 80-90% of the shots. Mossberg replaced the barrel and the trigger assembly on both guns. They only had the pistols for a day or two before sending them back: efficient. The first one is back and now has the same problem only 10% of the time. I haven't fired the 2nd one since it's come back. In spite of this problem, which prevents me from using them as concealed carry pistols, I really like these MC1sc pistols for many reasons: trigger, takedown, slide manipulation, ergonomics, my accuracy in shooting them, and sights.

    FYI, it isn’t “now” an American company, the founder was an immigrant long ago who was just proud of his heritage. I imagine they have to promote the domestic nature of their business, as many will assume it’s an import.

    Absolutely love Mossberg shotguns and rifle. The pistols look really good I don't know how well they are or shoot but just buy a Glock if you're getting a pistol/handgun 😁😈

      Why?

    • @CodyHaze77
      @CodyHaze77 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glocks are just my preference. I'm just very good with Glocks they fit my hand very well and that's what I carry and that's what I always shoot. I've been shooting Glocks for 6 years now and I'm very good with them so that's what I shoot. I'm not going to switch to a different firearm when I'm already very good with Glocks I do have other guns Smith & Wesson Taurus and Colt.
