Any other suggestions?
I use 0.5$ acrylic mirror 20x20cm behind my phone with flixable mount can see my phone from all sides without connection issues such as image delaying, over heating phone, sudden disconnection .. etc
I bought reflector and I think it was called parrot years ago. To me if you pay it should be for life. It lasted 2 years then did not work you had to buy their latest version’s. Just saying.

You said to change the view on the screen from portrait to landscape you have to make sure your settings before you record. What if it won’t rotate onscreen? I made sure my phone rotate lock is off, but I still cannot get the QuickTime mirror to rotate. It does not follow the phone.
you shouldn't call it a "Complete Guide" because it's missing the one use case I need: iPhone to iPhone mirroring, for monitoring a remote/live video recording from on stage using another iPhone (and starting/stopping the video).

When I record my first video, the size is normal when I see it in my video editor (Shotcut). When I bring in the second video, the screen is so tiny and I have to blow up the scale but it looks too grainy. This has happened twice. How can I set it so that the scale is normal each time I record?

As long as I can power the monitor and then connect the iPhone to it with an HDMI adapter, I should not need anything else? Can I still use the phone audio if the monitor has no speakers? And do you happen to know if there are any limitations to doing this with an older iPhone? I have an 8 Plus that is currently on iOS 16.7.6.

I just got an iPhone for the first time in like 7 years. I’m trying to connect to my TV via airplay, but my phone is asking to scan a text on my TV first. For some reason I can’t just type it in, it has to be scanned, and my phone just isn’t properly scanning the code it’s supposed to. Any help? I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Nice one Justin. My computer is being repaired, so I’m using an ipad (as best I can) connected to a keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth and was trying to hook up a large TV as a monitor. Seems mirroring is the solution here. Thanks mate.
