I really appreciate this video. I am from America and took a 30 day trip to Tanzania last year. I was fortunate enough to visit different cities in Tanzania including mwanza! I loved mwanza so much and even bought land in geita! I haven’t returned back since then but My hope is to build my own home there close to my land. So this video really gave me motivation, insight and clarification thank you!
@@alexsalemo9137 land ownership is a very complex issue in Tanzania for foreigners. However, with the right legal support and connection with a trustworthy Tanzanian with you it is possible.
Yeeeeeees! Tanga is my preferred city. Let me tell you how i found tanga. I arrived in tanzania october 2021 dar es saalam. After two days in Dar i realize i did not like it very much. I packed my bag and asked a taxi driver to take me to the bus terminal. On arrival there i decided to board the next bus to where ever it was going, so happened it was a bus to tanga. Paid my ticket and left for tanga. On arrival i stayed at the nyumbani hotel for a few days, after i was invited to a family home for dinner, i feel in love with tanga. February 2022 i return to tanzania and headed straight to tanga. At the end of this year i am moving permentaly to tanzania making tanga my home.
That's what they call walking in faith! Tanga Is a very good place to live indeed, I think you will also like the southern coastal areas also for example lindi. All the best with the move fam👊🏿
Thank you so much for this video. My husband and I are both retired and we are seriously thinking of spending 6months of the year in Tanzania and 6 in London in future.I spent time in Tanga as a child and we are planning a trip later in the year so we will be visiting Tanga and also Mwanza as you made it sound really interesting. Travel safe.
I am, considering retiring in Tanzania in about 10 years. I am doing research in advance and I am learning and finding information about this country. I feel as though I would be very much in peace with the land. Thanks for your content. Will continue to gather as much information possible to make an informed decision on where to settle. Thank you sir for the video of the five cities. In 2019 when I visited Arusha I was not required to get a yellow fever vaccine. Are yellow fever vaccines required at this time? I am 70 years old. Thanks again.
Walaykum Salaam Akh, start with visiting Tanzania to determine whether the society will be suitable for you; and also learn about the various residence permits that are available for long-term stay here: immigration.go.tz/index.php/types-of-residence-permit
It has, but there is no full guarantee you will be given one. You would have to sustain yourself using your retirement money from the country of origin
