How does aetherflux conduit work? Are you supposed to after the ability resolves draw 7 then vomit your hand. Then after you choose the cards the effect wears off? Since it doesnt say until the end of your turn im assuming you have to choose the cards after drawing and after that you go back to an open game state where you have priority and do the rest of your turn but cant cast new spells for free, right? A bit confused
@Shimatzu95 ya I agree I was like. Where's the till end of turn. But I think I've experienced enough mtg to figure it out but i still needed clarification.
I think slapping sundial in there to stop the sac ability from happening and building a giant artifact board would also be fun a bunch of etb's with 5/5 blockers
Also the secondary commander in this deck focuses on vehicles and makes vehicle tokens that can crew. That’s a heavy mechanic and part of this set also so🤷
On top of all the above mentioned stuff, there’s also a lot of cards in this deck with the exhaust mechanic from this set. So it’s heavily focused around exhaust, vehicles, crewing and artifacts. All of those are main mechanics and/or parts of this set. The energy is just an added bonus.
It seems like the 2 precons are meant to embody mechanics from the 2 returning worlds that don't have a presence in the main set (energy for Kaladesh, embalm/eternalize from Amonkhet). It may still be disappointing but there are so many legends in the main set there will be plenty of options for new builds.
retrofitter foundry synergizes really well with Stridehanger Automaton. sac a thopter, get a construct and a thopter. is it the most powerful thing ever? nope, but it still it fun.
I like the new cards, but Saheeli just feels like the devs just powercrept and stapled together Dr. Li and Satya . She has more ways to produce energy than Dr. Li , and she copy more things than Satya can. Hell she doesn't even have to tap or attack to get any of her effects lol. It's like an even more brain dead version of the shell that I built for Dr. Li. Its not a bad thing per say, its one of my favorite decks, but I was kind of hoping for something a little different.
The Elder Gargaroth inclusion really confused me. I honestly felt that they were gonna put Urza, Lord High Artificer in here because of the artifact/artificer theme.
Why are all the new cards for this deck so... boring? Besides Aetherflux Conduit, which is an insane payoff, and Rampaging Aetherhood, which is a cool and mechanically flavorful callback to Primordial Hydra, the rest of the cards are just "X but with energy." Territorial Aetherkite is just a boardwipe for energy. Peema Trailblazer does the thing and is a payoff for the thing. Nissa with "Landfall - Get 2E" has to be the most boring design imaginable. And Adaptive Omnitool is almost word-for-word Conjurer's Mantle but for artifacts instead of creaturs of the same type. And Stridehangar Automaton is just... there, for some reason?
Saheeli has green so its a different deck and it can target any permanent you control unlike Satya which is only non token creatures and Saheeli dosent have to attack
@hatchell18 there will almost always be at least 1 opponent you can attack and Jeskai is a better colour for energy. This is an alternate option but not as good. Yes making any permanent is more powerful but you can't keep the copies like you can with Satya.
@ before yes that was correct. Now? No lol. So many really good energy cards for green now. Simic in general is a busted ass color and temur has always been one of the best color combos. Now it has good energy support to combine with the ramp and the combo simic bs/nonsense. Also copying any permanent is way better than only copying non token creatures. It doesn’t matter if you can’t keep them. You’re copying them for the etbs and other triggers etc. Also an effect that triggers almost all the time is better then triggers that only proc on attacks. It doesn’t matter if you can attack each turn or not. Tell me you don’t know what you’re talking about without telling me😂
Aetheric Amplifier is a godsend gift to +Experience counter commanders. What a boon for Minthara!
Had the exact same thought for Otharri oh my god
Azlask goes brrrrrrrrr
i love how both saheeli and aminatou have now led precons as both planeswalkers and creatures
22:09 This took me by surprise 😂
LMAOOO
Crazy that he didn't edit this out... 😂
The problem with not having it be red and blue is it would be missing out on a lot of good energy cards from the previous decks.

You are correct.
You cast them all as part of the effect.
@brandyourfan9244 so don't play them into a teferi time raveler
@@MidgarMerc Oof. That would be bad
Terrible wording, i actually feared this just made a omniscience emblem. Thabk god its not THAT busted.

I think Saheeli, Radiant (Infinite combat steps) Creator is pretty cool. And Chandra's mom helps out with that strategy.
I love the cards that pay homage to other classic cards, like Territorial Aetherkite and Aetherflux Conduit
I think slapping sundial in there to stop the sac ability from happening and building a giant artifact board would also be fun a bunch of etb's with 5/5 blockers
I'd rather have a deck based on an actual mechanic from the set than yet another energy deck.
This set focuses heavily on artifacts and this deck is mainly artifacts not just energy so it is based on one.

I’m glad for Sehili as I’m using Riku as my commander who copies currently.
Me when I Aetheric Amplifier the infect counters on me and die
casually slipping a single poison counter on the player with the aetheric amplifier

Thats wut i was thinking. I its literally the best of both worlds. I dont have an energy deck rn so i guess i just build Saheeli
Any idea when and where the zombie pre-con will be fully spoiled?
tomorrow
Don't know the exact time, but sometime today on the Commander at Home channel
1:13 Would be nice to see a Temur energy Nahiri, but Saheeli is nice too
Except Nahiri is Red/White. Why would she be RUG?
@@matthewdykeman8149 Go to 1:13 and listen to who Tomer refers to Saheeli as.
@@matthewdykeman8149 This comment is because at the time stamp he accidentally says Nahiri instead of Saheeli lol
You completely forgot about Experience counters for the doubler mana rock
and planeswalkers as well
Whirler is insane goes infinite very easy in energy.
precon comes prepackaged with an infinite that wins the game only needing one card outside the deck to play? Glad I preordered this
what is that?
Im curious as well
I thinks she's less mishra more temur isshen. Cloning creatures with attached triggers
The Elder Gargaroth inclusion really confused me. I honestly felt that they were gonna put Urza, Lord High Artificer in here because of the artifact/artificer theme.
Oooof this deck sucks
WoTC finally listened, now to move on and complain where the black energy deck is.
