This show is so bogus,it's the same crap every year and the main events like the Blue Angels are there every other year.I used to be one of their Official Photographers,but quit when it was the same acts every year.Let me run it,I know what people want to see,it's not this crap.
The Chicago Air and Water Show fell off when they stopped having all the different helos and Ospreys as well as the Stealth Fighters, Bombers, Raptors and that one jet (whose name I can't remember) that could take off like a helicopter, hover and turn around like it was on a swivel then fly off into the sunset. At the time that was the coolest thing I ever saw. They haven't had it for many years. Chicago used to rock back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Now it's just ho hum. Not worth the trip to see it in person anymore really.
