    So it is just a couple days shy of being a year. How do you like it now? Still holding up good? Contemplating buying one as I need a bag slightly smaller than the one I am carrying every day now.

      Thank you for watching ! Yes the bag is holding up great, It is a very very tuff bag. If you are needing a smaller tuff backpack I don't think you will find one any better than this one

      You are welcome. It was definitely one of the better videos I have seen. I saw a couple of reviews that say it is the size of a kids school backpack, and one review said it was smaller than the dimensions that were given on the website. No one around my area carries Maxpedition stuff so I am having to go off what other people say.
      It will be mainly an EDC bag for work. I have the stuff I need for work. Notebook, notepad, 2 pens, safety glasses, 2 flashlights, I have a Altoids tin with a small pocket knife, tweezers, one of the small P38 can openers, and a bic lighter. Then my pistol and a spare mag. So I think the size will be perfect I just don't want to look like a goober wearing it because I am a big guy.

      +Dean Winchester the pack is on the small size but not bad and I'm 6'3 and 280 pounds but it is comfortable to wear. I'm not sure about where you would keep a pistol in it at due to it don't have a designated CCW compartment. I just use this bag as my outdoor pack and I keep survival and camping items in it. If I were you I would look into the 5.11 Covert 18 backpack for EDC that is what I use and I love it. It don't look tactical or military looking which is what I was wanting for EDC and it has a designated CCW compartment in which i carry my Glock 19 in. I haven't gotten around to making a video of mine yet ,but I will when I get the time. You can search 5.11 covert 18 backpack videos here on TH-cam and there are several. From what you told me you will be carrying in it I think the 5.11 covert 18 will be a better choice for you.

      clpducks I have a small pistol case that I usually throw in my bag. I have a SOG Ninja Day Pack currently that I am using. It doesn't have a CCW compartment either. After 2 years and being used to it, I am not even sure if I would use a CCW compartment to be honest. The backpack is more of a way for me to carry my pistol when I am not allowed to wear it on my person.

      +Dean Winchester oh ok I understand about the CCW issue then. If you are going to just use the bag to put the pistol in to carry it and not use it as a way to. conceal carry and deploy the pistol from it then yes I think you will really like this typhoon bag. Let me know if I can answer any other questions about it you might have.

    Good video buddy! You've just earned a sub! 😉 I have just ordered a typhoon to take out walking as I have never fancied taking my Pygmy falcon that I use as my EDC bag. I'll do a video when it arrives to compare 😉

    where can i find that knife you have on your backpack strap?

    • @ClpBushcraft
      @ClpBushcraft  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rita Heard thank you for watching. The knife I have in my pack is Survive! Knifes brand GSO 4.1. It is a smaller company and are hard to get strait from them due to they only make a limited number at a time. I was able to get mine from EBay. Just put in the search Survive GSO and you should find some there. You can can check in on surviveknives.com to see what might be available strait from them or when one will be available. If you get one you want be sorry their knifes are awesome !
