I wonder, what is the demographic health record of the communities downwind/near to certain sites contaminated by pfas/depleted uranium, etc.? Should we know that information via making it a required part of their (the Military's), Environmental Impact Statement'(s)? Are people not also part of the environment as commonly taught in ecology that people are part of the environment thus, their health should be made part of the Environmental Impact Statement (ie: the E.I.S. for the Pohakuloa area, etc)? Are there scientists, separate from those preparing the E.I.S. who can analyze the E.I.S. data and ask pertinent questions regarding statistical analysis' such as, what data, if any, was excluded in their, (if any), linear regression statistical analysis? I rather not drown crossing a river calculated to be 3 feet deep on average. That's one mean average. Just saying. That said...
Also, what if I told you, the overthrow of the Kingdom is a false narrative that benefits the military? What if I told you, the queen, not the kingdom was overthrown? What if I could prove it via the House of Nobles? How would you proceed? As Kauwamakaainanakahunaalii? He Kanaka? A person AND a people? *Logically, there can be no 'or' a people.
I get that people want and need access to lands. I do too. I also get, that the aina doesn't always want or need people to have access, no matter how wonderful their/my intentions may be. Which begs the questions to ask when discussing land management, what does the aina want? What does the aina need? The aina is our Kupuna, true. And if so true, then my Kupuna doesn't always want or need me to be around because she/he needs space/resources as well as I do. This is part of learning how to gather 'resources' which is learning to accept no for an answer and still be loved and blessed so, leaving empty handed with an overflowing proverbial heart.
    Aloha,
    Deb, (Agricultural Science Major, OSU)
It's true that the western concept of capitalism has never benefited us to follow over the long run but, it is also true we had an economy and it was a sustainable one, long ago, prior to the massive unsustainable harvest of our trees throughout pohakuloa and elsewhere to fund our fledgling 'westernized' economy post contact; the purpose of which was to protect and provide for the people. Even we have made mistakes, in hindsight 20/20, (mistakes that Kamehameha schools and the people at large via Bishop Estate benefit from to this day). Recognizing those mistakes creates the space needed to re-imagine a sustainable economy built upon the successes of the past, (pre-contact), that can not only benefit us but benefit the world as well, as we work to move away from an unsustainable economy built upon the wanton consumption of resources without environmental recompense. Sustainability is adaptability and adaptability is dominion. Dominion is shared with all as in all or not then. *Logically, adaptability is not mutually exclusive so neither can the outcome be mutually exclusive. This concept is stated in general terms, so it is applicable to many, if not all facets of life on this planet. It can probably be written out mathematically by some nerds who know our old number system, (how to count to Umi without ending up with one zero at the end because there is no such thing as nothing, unless you have nothing to say. Silence is golden and the truth is priceless. Your Kupuna every told you something like this before? I wonder?).

Aloha from Pu'u Honua O Pi'iholo, Maui Nei, Hawaiian Kingdom/SMK! ENOUGH ALREADY! NO MORE LIES! NO MORE AMERICA - IN HAWAII! The Lord of Naboth's Vineyard, is returning, and He IS putting a STOP to anymore HEWA being done to the Aina, and its people! In Ka Hemolele Baibala/The Holy Bible, in Matthew chapter 21, verses 33 through 44, the parable of the Lord's Vineyard reveals what is soon to happen to those "wicked men," (and He knows exactly who they are; past, present, and future), ever since they began conspiring against the Lord's Vineyard/The Hawaiian Islands ( from pre 1887 to today!)! And they will not escape their fate, unless they Repent!
Your friend and brother in Christ, Maka'ala Stone
