I watch Simon's Cat when the news cycle gets to me. These vids always make me smile and feel good for a while. My rental doesn't allow pets, so you can imagine how hard it is for a cat lover!
Simon's Cat and Kitten remind me of my own two cats. They are brother and sister, two litters apart. My older one is an orange male that just wants to nap, eat, and mind his own business. My younger one is a gray female thats very curious about everything, gets into trouble, and still likes to play even though she's not a kitten anymore. When I first got my little girl, she always wanted to be by her big brother.. but he just wasn't having it lol. They've grown to love eachother over the years but this video reminds me of when they were little. Thank you for this ♥️
You know, not enough people give credit to the high degree of accuracy that this series has in animating the little cat behaviors that other cartoons wouldn't bother with. Everything from how the tail twitches when the cat is angry, to how they fight, to how they play, their body language, etc. is portrayed in a way that makes me as a cat owner go "yes!!! That's EXACTLY what my cat does!" Well done, Simon Tofield!
I especially like how the big one is about to strike the little one but hesitates and gives him a little tap instead. My cats used to do that a lot. My big one was always pretty gentle with our smaller one.
That was my exact thought!! I stumbled across this video since I haven’t seen any of Simon’s cat videos in years!! I was definitely not disappointed in what i saw! It’s genuinely adorable & fun to analyze how they included all the cats mannerisms & micro- aggression/expressions! Made this video much more enjoyable (as a cat owner & fostering 🐱 mother) it made me giggle 😂

So many great details: Simon's cat understands physics (gets all worried when he thinks the gnome is going to fall over). Can grasp pillows (and baseball bats) and swing them like champs. Has no guile, points to the fish and bird and indicates that he's hungry. Kitten gets upset but only for a moment (and is way smarter than Simon's cat). Excellent, love it ❤
A few years ago, I played a Simon's Cat video for a little girl who loves cartoons & kitties and her doting Grandfather who's almost deaf. They sat & watched Simon's Cat together all afternoon and it was beautiful. Love love love Simon's Cat!! Thank You! ❤🤗😸
Me too, except I was born in 1968. So I owned a cat, before I can say, my family-owned Boots. Out of the 56 years I've on this planet, I owned at least one (Boots was the only one that was one cat. Every other cat has been 2 or more), I've owned at cat for 55 years. When my mother moved me where we lived with relatives for a year, they didn't like cats. I'm a dog lover as well and so they had 2 dogs outside very away from their house, asked my uncle could I feed the dogs, and said very happily yes because you had to hop over a fence, gate was nailed shut. They were the closes, I had to being with a cat. He regretted that he came the same as the others in the house. Going to work in the garden all of us had to go, and the dogs ran over to all people, (mostly everyone) would even ignore them but weirdly I was the last one to go up to the garden, and they ran over to me, and they wouldn't come back to him, and he was upset. He said, "I think I need to start feeding them again. No use because my aunt was a work horse and I would not just feed them, but I also stayed with them for hours. Once moved out of that house, we had a cat within a week, and I never was without a cat since. By the way, the dogs were not taken to a vet and so Fritz the white German Sheperd died while I still live there from heart worms. Ginger was heartbroken because she was without him and me. Get a call and I had to go in the doghouse and then go to the vet because they said she wouldn't let them near her. Probably a lie. She was really sick, and she smelled bad, but she really did not allow anyone but me to hold her while in the car or the vet. She died of pin worms. Her name was Ginger and a very ungroomed Cocker Spaniel. Could of saved her if they would have let me take her with me. Did ask, so they were defiantly animal cruel. Got my Midnight and was so happy and got her out of home where was abused by kids. That was horrible for her, but she became my cat from that day on. She followed me everywhere and slept on my head and chest. She even told me when I was having labor pains. She got the pleasure of being a mama cat from two kittens. She was spayed.

I have a male cat of three years and a kitten of 9 months and can totally relate. This is spot on behaviour for my two - had me laughing out loud at several moments 😂

This is so stinking cute. There's not even a word to describe this level of cuteness. The detail is always so accurate. In the first clip, the white cat had his tail flicking back and forth when defending the food. Exactly what my cats do with that little tail flick. As a 9 cat household, I see so much of this on a daily basis It's nice to watch it in cartoon form 🥰

love the little black kitten sooo much. I saw the real cat on Insta and he looks so much like my beloved half Main Coon, who suddenly passed away last November aged 13. He was exactly like that when he was a kitten, and he ambushed our two older cats just like that ;) I'm still not over losing him, of all the cats that shared their lives with me, he was the most special one and closer to my heart even than the others. But when I see your little films with the black kitten, I have the hugest happy smile on my face remembering my little fluffy friend.
They really are the best at what they do. These cats have so many instantly recognisable adorable and infuratingly adorable things about them that our cats have too. Great job, Simon and the team! Thanks for another lovely video. I know colour is probably much more expensive but it's lovely to look at.

I’ve never really been a huge fan of this type of content (specifically, putting a bunch of already-existing shorts together into a longer video), but the extra effort put into this one makes it much better!
This is tons of fun! The postures and body movements of Simon's cat and the kitten are so true to life. However, I also love the little moments when they do human-things, such as carrying the scratching post to add to Simon's suitcase packing LOL

As a cat owner since 1968, every bit of this is so accurate!
Me too, except I was born in 1968. So I owned a cat, before I can say, my family-owned Boots. Out of the 56 years I've on this planet, I owned at least one (Boots was the only one that was one cat. Every other cat has been 2 or more), I've owned at cat for 55 years. When my mother moved me where we lived with relatives for a year, they didn't like cats. I'm a dog lover as well and so they had 2 dogs outside very away from their house, asked my uncle could I feed the dogs, and said very happily yes because you had to hop over a fence, gate was nailed shut. They were the closes, I had to being with a cat. He regretted that he came the same as the others in the house. Going to work in the garden all of us had to go, and the dogs ran over to all people, (mostly everyone) would even ignore them but weirdly I was the last one to go up to the garden, and they ran over to me, and they wouldn't come back to him, and he was upset. He said, "I think I need to start feeding them again. No use because my aunt was a work horse and I would not just feed them, but I also stayed with them for hours. Once moved out of that house, we had a cat within a week, and I never was without a cat since. By the way, the dogs were not taken to a vet and so Fritz the white German Sheperd died while I still live there from heart worms. Ginger was heartbroken because she was without him and me. Get a call and I had to go in the doghouse and then go to the vet because they said she wouldn't let them near her. Probably a lie. She was really sick, and she smelled bad, but she really did not allow anyone but me to hold her while in the car or the vet. She died of pin worms. Her name was Ginger and a very ungroomed Cocker Spaniel. Could of saved her if they would have let me take her with me. Did ask, so they were defiantly animal cruel. Got my Midnight and was so happy and got her out of home where was abused by kids. That was horrible for her, but she became my cat from that day on. She followed me everywhere and slept on my head and chest. She even told me when I was having labor pains. She got the pleasure of being a mama cat from two kittens. She was spayed.

The part where the white cat dumps the vase of flowers and water onto the kitten and then kicks the fruit bowl over was the best 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is so stinking cute. There's not even a word to describe this level of cuteness. The detail is always so accurate. In the first clip, the white cat had his tail flicking back and forth when defending the food. Exactly what my cats do with that little tail flick.
As a 9 cat household, I see so much of this on a daily basis It's nice to watch it in cartoon form 🥰

love the little black kitten sooo much. I saw the real cat on Insta and he looks so much like my beloved half Main Coon, who suddenly passed away last November aged 13. He was exactly like that when he was a kitten, and he ambushed our two older cats just like that ;) I'm still not over losing him, of all the cats that shared their lives with me, he was the most special one and closer to my heart even than the others. But when I see your little films with the black kitten, I have the hugest happy smile on my face remembering my little fluffy friend.
They really are the best at what they do. These cats have so many instantly recognisable adorable and infuratingly adorable things about them that our cats have too. Great job, Simon and the team! Thanks for another lovely video. I know colour is probably much more expensive but it's lovely to look at.
