I thinking about doing one of two projects next. Either the MG Deepstriker, or the Full Mechanics Grimgerde and Vidar together. Let me know what you'd like to see.
Wow, EDIT originally I made a funny comment but I want to just take a second (after watching half way through the video) This is excellent work and dedication to the build and video. Thank you for doing this really it's freaking amazing.
Awesome job!!! Beautiful panel scribing, nice cobal blue, though i prefer the clear parts to stay clear and not realy the fan of this greenish yellow, but that's just a matter of taste. Otherwise epic!!!
I have many old videos that describe some of the tools I use. It is not comprehensive. If you need more though, this is where I learned everything I needed for my first build. otakurevolution.com/content/laymans-gunpla-guide
Can I ask why is that when I’m spraying primer on a white part and red part, the primer colour shown on the red part is always dimmer/darker ? And I have applied multiple (4/5) layers and still can’t even it out ?
A great question. You've discovered the way color behaves when airbrushing. Unfortunately, it always leaks through, unless you use a primer darker than it. White primer can never completely cover it. One rule of thumb for airbrushing kits is that if you want to change a color away from the base color, going darker is thorough. Going lighter though... If it really bothers you, grey primer covers dark colors more thoroughly. However, grey primer tends to dampen main coat colors, which is why I prefer white primer. It's not shown in the video, but I had the same problem with this kit when spraying the red (and blue) parts with white primer. It never gets as bright as true white. What color are you trying to make the red part? If you're going to make it red anyway, it doesn't really matter whether its tint matches the white parts. If you're trying to change it to white as a main coat however, you're going to need a lot of main coat. And even then, the red might find its way through. Maybe you can neutralize it by adding a dash of green to the mixture, since green and red are complementary colors; just a thought. Did any of this help?
@@proxidevo9164 thanks for the reply! I am trying to pain the red part grey (with grey primer). I might try using green on top of grey primer next time and see how it goes!
The attention to detail is off the charts.

Try adding white primer too! If your grey primer coat isn't bright enough, perhaps all you need is some white. Good luck!
Why this channel sub so few
Spread the word! 😊
Lovely stuff! Are you on a hiatus at the moment?
Thanks!
I'm working on a new video at the moment. But things are slow moving.
